Okay, so I did something new today for BR and tested what would happen if I read at a pace I was comfortable with. I took 2.5-3 minutes reading the passage trying to understand it. It took me about 4-6 minutes answering the questions. So it would ta…
@Quinn
The problem I have trouble with is when I skim read, I don't have the time to make those inferences or have time to assess the passage. At most I can determine the authors attitude and MP of the passage. i have trouble with the tiny details…
Hey Sunyuchencn,
I don't think you need the parenthesis. From my understanding, it is just an "and" statement in the necessary condition. I actually diagrammed the first sentence differently than you.

6 points is actually good. I try not to be let down if I somehow bomb a section I was good at. I've been told that if you encounter an easy LR section, you will probably encounter a harder RC/LG.
To me it looks like you've only taken 2 tests so I w…
Hey Wu,
I think you can do that by clicking on the star at next to the lesson on the progress page. If you completed the lesson, there should be a green check mark next to it and a small little star on the right of that green check mark.
And I had…
@J.Y. Yeah, afterwards I do the whole print out ten and keep doing it. I used to look at the video explanations but have not been looking at the video expl. anymore for the recent PT since they've been a repeat lately. Usually, I'll just look at the…
I brute force my way through all the games also. If for some reason I know that a certain game is ridiculously hard, I diagram it as best as I can and then just answer the questions by forcing each answer against the rules.
Just to clarify...all the PT's up to 68 were the exact and actual LSAT issued for that month and year with no changes (except for the ones that say "item has been removed from scoring").
So whatever is on PT 68 was the exact same one that people to…
-Not trying to think about not thinking about lsat (inception)
-Trying to find parking in town during rush hour
-Driving uphill after coming at a complete stop in the middle with a stick-shift car

Reading comp I found a little easier. What I noticed in the newer ones for RC, the answer choices got a lot trickier. I really miss RC passages like the greek tragedy one. They flowed so easily and the questions went hand in hand with the passage.

Lol hey Jason, me and you are on the exact same boat. I've been studying since last year summer and I don't really want to take the Oct. one. I actually asked J.Y. about this earlier and he said the reason why people do worst on their actual LSAT is…
Hey Quinn, a great example of the "MSS" is PT 61, Section 2 Q7.
Notice how Talbert didn't say anything about Chess should be taught. Talbert just lists good factors about chess which you have to imply that Talbert is for chess.
Lol, Sorry if I sounded like I was complaining. Thanks Alan!
Edit: Hey Alan, something is weird with the comment page; page works but I can't click on anything like people's comments.
Edit2: Using google chrome.
What I mean by "MSS" is like the LSAT makers will just throw something in there that wasn't exactly discussed in discussion but enough for two people to agree/disagree on.
These I really reallyx10 hate.
The list method (i'm sure you mean the check and X's) i try to avoid. It takes way to long in my opinion. What I learned is to define the main argument of each person and compare them. Flush out all that fluff. I've seen this for a majority of them.…
