I am so grateful for these videos. I want to know what is the best way to maximize learning while watching these logical games videos. What other information should we learn or know to fully understand each game, the techniques in each game, and the proper way of handling each problem, so we feel confident, and we are ready when we practice or take the test on the day of. Any suggestions?

  • vmalebranche

Hey, why can’t we see the actual games? I have purchased a package but I would love to be able to see the actual games and redo them but only the explanations are here:/ anyone, feel free to comment on this. Thanks.

    • David Michael-1

Your package contains full length lsats. It doesn’t give you every LSAT ever, you have to buy those online. I’d recommend purchasing the ones not included in your 7sage package on Amazon. I think 7sage also sells the logic games as a bundle from preptests 1-35, check the upgrades section of the site. Its under add-ons and is 30 dollars, which is a great deal. Those 35 tests in addition to those from your package will be more than enough, and you can always buy more if you need.

  • GTHarris

    Thanks J.Y.!

  • marthamatthews

My score on the logic games section has improved rapidly after watching your explanations, thank you!!

  • arakidatokuma

    J.Y, you’re an angel.

    Thanks so much!!

  • rono93

Seriously stepping up the site! Everytime I log in something has changed. This has been by far the most valuable resource in practicing the logic games! I can’t thank you enough for doing something so selfless!

  • sanashussain

um, i love you? no seriously, thank you so much!!!!

  • tatianarobinson87

Ummmmm, This is absolutely exceptional!! Good Karma’s going to come back to you J.Y.

  • David Michael-1

Hey JY, i love the new logos on the videos on youtube, very professional looking and cool!

  • jillianbliss

I just wanted to give JY and 7Sage a major thumbs up for their logic games explanations! I took a course that provided different techniques the first time i took the lsat, but those techniques only freaked me out and confused me. JY explains stuff clearly and practically and gave me a major confidence boost in my games. I am taking the Feb 8 LSAT and can only hope to see my score continue to improve before then. Maybe I’m freaking out (in a good way) a little too much, but I am actually excited about logic games now!

  • alexandra.k.griffiths

Thank you SO much for all of this free help! I need major help in the LG section, but these tips & tricks have made me for confident to get my goal score!

  • jccicchi

I can’t thank you enough for what you have done for all of us on this page of explanations. It is very helpful. Thanks again.

    • J.Y. Ping

You’re welcome. Tell others about us. Study hard!

  • annkang1005

Hi, where is the video that shows how to do “rule equivalent” or “rule substitution” problems? These are problems in PT57 game 1 and PT62 game 1. I need the most help on solving these problems

    • J.Y. Ping

Hey, there isn’t a lesson “in the abstract”. So just watch the lessons for each game where the “substitution and equivalence” question comes up. You’ll get it for sure!

  • NYGiants1407

    1) Any chance you could do explanations for the Feb 1997 Logic Games?

    2) I have watched every single video, some multiple times, and just wanted to take a minute to thank you. This is an incredible resource. I am taking the LSAT for the final time in December, otherwise I would have enrolled in one of your courses had i found you guys sooner.

    3) One suggestion: For someone aiming for perfection on LG, I loved hearing the estimated time each game should take if aiming for -0. I do, however, think it would be useful for future users if you had this somewhere in writing at the top of each video page. Maybe I’m wrong, and it would be a pain to implement, but people drilling older games could set a benchmark–before attempting a game– if they wanted. Sometimes I’d have to expose myself to the setup of a game to hear your advice on timing. Regardless, I cannot thank you enough and will reference you to everybody in the future who asks me about the LSAT.

    • NYGiants1407

Obviously this suggestion may not be good for the first time attempting a game, but i think it could be very useful for people re-drilling games they haven’t seen in a long time. Anyway, THANK YOU again for all you’re doing for the LSAT prep community.

      • J.Y. Ping

Thanks for the suggestions! I’m glad you’ve found our resources helpful.

  • natevines

    Hey 7Sage-

Really appreciate this and love it, but i don’t have access to the old tests. It would be awesome if you could add to the video – or, perhaps even easier and more useful, simply post it on the page – the questions so I could try them myself before watching the explanations.

  • solidoakster

You guys are great, this is such a good resource. I have been doing Powerscore and even did Kaplan. I was always missing something, and wanted to do more than they would teach me. I see, it’s splitting the charts. It’s what I needed. It makes so much more sense to spend time in the front to make the back end go much faster. Thanks alot for the help. I have 5 weeks till I take the test. Thinking about doing your course.

    • J.Y. Ping

Thanks. Good luck studying! I hope you do sign up.

      • solidoakster

I thought you had a 4 week course, but I can’t seem to find it now. Do you? My mind is malfunctioning.

        • J.Y. Ping

We do not. All courses are listed here:

  • DadofThree

How far back should you look at games? Taking lsat in february. Thx

  • sanaamallah

Love your explanations, in some of them you have me laughing with your witty comments which remind me that these are fun games when I’m starting to get frustrated!.

  • panamaln91

You guys def get 5 stars! ✴✴✴✴✴

These lessons are so helpful, thanks!
    Easy and simple to follow!

    • J.Y. Ping

Hey thanks! Tell everyone about us. We’re still pretty new.

  • mayor296

This study aid is simply fantastic. Nowhere on the internet have I found a more comphensive approach to teaching and believe me, I have tried many.

This is the best thing to hit the LSAT community – EVER. AND its free? You guys are way too awesome! A godsend at the least..

  • Justin

I am 4 days from taking the LSAT and quite sad to just be stumbling upon this now. :/ haha That said, thank you so much for this incredible resource, and for providing it free of charge no less. I struggle a lot with people not willing to forgo a potential profit just to help others; this is an incredibly nice and welcome reprieve. So whoever you are out there…whoever makes these…ad whoever pays you/helps you pay rent. Really, truly, thank you so very very much for your help!

    Justiin

  • Joe

Thanks a lot. What a miracle!!!

  • J.Y. Ping

It’s done. All logic games videos are up.

  • John

Hi your the best with all these explanations , but can you please do the rest of pt 2, 3,9 and 11 that would be great ! :D thank you so much ! You are the man !

  • elpyjov

I want to request Game 2 of Preptest 2 (the one about the apartment building and apartment residents). I would be so curious to see how you do the work upfront, and if there is any shortcut for Q11. Thank you so much for these amazing explanations!!! Logic games have gotten so much easier.

  • delly

I’ve said this before – I’ll say it again! ….
AMAZING JOB! im sooo lucky that I came across this videos … I dont know what I would have done! … just excellent. GREAT JOB! ..
I really cant thank you enough! …

    • J.Y. Ping

Hey thanks! Give us a lot of “likes” on our YouTube videos! :D That helps other students find out about us.

  • Elizabeth

Thank you so much for these videos! The way you explain is so energetic and fun to listen to and helpful! When you could a chance, could you please post the explanation to Preptest 17 Game 1? I can’t find a way to do it quickly and see a larger picture. Thanks! Elizabeth

  • Mike

Came across this site from TLS recently. Explanations are excellent! I’d appreciate it if you can set up a video for PT 17 Section 1 Game 4 – it’s the one with 8 people. Thanks!

  • J.Y. Ping

Hey 7Sagers, if you want a Logic Game explained from an older test, please request it!

    • Lori C

J.Y., you’re so great and so kind. Bless you!

  • Chen-Chih Serene

    What an accomplishment! Thank you.

  • Balabalar

Thank you SOOOOOO MUCHHHHHHH for making these vedios!!!!!

  • SK

Best logic game explanations ever. Thank you for making videos that are so lucid and easy-to-follow. I wish all teachers were like you! What a boon to the world of LSAT study tools, as well as education in general :)

  • NT

This website is making my life right now. Thank you so much for all the videos

  • Jennifer Lepan

Is it possible to just purchase the games section so I can print this off? I have not enrolled in any of the courses and am using the free trial but would be willing to pay for the games sections.

  • Kristin Braddock

Aw I was hoping to see prep test 19 on here. Any chance you could post soon? Pretty please?

    • Jonathan Wang

It’s coming, and it’s actually closer than you might think! Keep an eye on this page ;-)

    • Lori C

PT 19 is up on the L.Games Explanations site – FYI

  • XLogic

Anyway you guys could post videos for SuperPrep — especially, PrepTest B G3 and G4. I hope there isn’t a legal reason why you can’t post videos for SuperPrep games.

The SuperPrep book really sucks at explaining stuff…
After staring at the games long enough, one can eventually solve the Games, but how can one be efficient?

    • Lori C

You can become truly efficient by watching the rest of the videos, especially those on translation into Lawgic. That’s part of the paid program, but as a subscriber I can say it’s absolutely worth every cent. You don’t lose anything by doing this online course versus a in-person class. In fact, it is better because you can take your time to truly digest the information before you move along. These guys reply promptly and personally to questions from students and will post explanation videos upon request. If you express frustration, they reply with kind words and let you know that you are not alone in your struggles. The tutorials for the other sections are as good as these provided for Logic Games. 7sage is a wonderful LSAT study program.

  • Sunmi Lee

Thank you guys so much for this; words can’t express how grateful I am to be able to watch these videos. I

    • J.Y. Ping

Aw, thanks Sunmi! We’re happy to know that we’re able to help you!
