If you had trouble with this game, you should practice the other Games that are similar to this one (listed below).  That way, you’ll learn to see how the Logic Games really are all the same. That’s how high scorers see them and that’s how you can improve your speed, accuracy, and score.

Start with the Games in the same set as this Game.  Then, work on the Games in the other sets.

    Hey –

I had trouble with 12 and I usually do with these types of questions ie) which pair is such that at least one has to be in. I believe 22 on the next game of this section asks the same thing and I got that wrong as well. Can you elaborate more on how to approach these questions please? Thanks

Hey there, I’m not sure if you’re enrolled in our full course so I don’t know if you’ll have access to the lesson but this is a foundational concept in In/Out Games. The first lesson is here: http://7sage.com/lesson/not-both-v-or-truth-tables/

You are correct about Q22 on Game 4 asking for the same thing. But, because of the set of rules that they give you in Game 4, the approach is different. You can ask about that question on that page: http://7sage.com/lsat_explanations/lsat-58-section-3-game-4/

Start at 10:35 in this video and watch it again. For L and T, can you toss both L and T into the out group?

      • LSATDude15

Nope, because if you don’t have L you have to have T and if you don’t have T you have to L. I see it now. I missed it because I didn’t take into account what the relationship between the variables in the chain entails ie) something out triggering something in means that at least ONE of them have to be in. Thanks for the explanation!

          Good job!

  • Bisonte

    Awesome. That cleared up alot!

  • Ibrahim

Why is it on question 10, the conditionality of putting L in and taking R out doesn’t automatically cause a chain effect to take M and T out like in the previous questions?

    • http://7sage.com/ J.Y. Ping

because we didn’t place L in and we didn’t place R out. have you gone through the intro to in/out games lesson set in the course?
