How do you recommend going through each question? Your 3 frames are so helpful– but writing out all 3 frames for each question that introduces something new “If R is the second program…, etc.” seems like it would take up a lot of time. Do you recommend just using the master frame and erasing, or doing it mentally for simple ones while just looking at the master diagram?

    • Mark Tenorio

Hey BL, I don’t think it introduces anything new. When R is the second program, it must either be that G is the first program or that T must be the first program. But we already know that T can’t be the first program because it has to be the half hour block and the earliest it could go is the second slot. Nor can it be W that is the first program and R the second because the rule that if W is before T it must be directly before T. So we automatically know that G is always the first program if R is mandated to the second program.

I actually did it the 3 frame way and found that you’re left with four slots left which is a perfect fit for the rest of the variables leftover and there are actually quite a few restrictions.

I am using chrome. How do i speed up the video? thank you!

    • Mayha Ghouri

Right under the video you should have different speeds you can click on. I believe it’s .8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.4, etc. If not, non-moblie Safari also has them

Sorry, it looks like there was a technical issue. You should see the following text below the video in all browsers now:

      Playback rate: 1.0x | 0.8x 1.0x 1.2x 1.4x 1.7x 2.0x 5.0x (Note: Playback rate can only be adjusted on non-mobile Chrome and Safari browsers)

But, as the note says, it only works on non-mobile versions of Chrome and Safari. If you don’t see it, try clearing your cache. If it’s still not happening, please let me know!
