When you get a question wrong you haven't just missed the correct answer, but have actively chosen a wrong answer. What makes a trap answer so alluring? Often a bad answer would be correct if allowed an assumption that's just a step too far. Learn to effectively scrutinize attractive answer choices, and stop feeding trap answers the assumptions they crave! The class does one question together as a warm up. After that, students will get 2-3 minutes to attempt each question on their own before reviewing with the instructor.

About the instructor
Instructor
Katie graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and is starting at Penn Carey Law this fall. She has taught standardized tests for six years, including the LSAT for the past two.
Katie believes the best way to improve is to approach the test methodically: develop structured strategies for each question type, recognize common patterns, and find efficient shortcuts along the way. As a visual learner, she both teaches with and recommends visual tools, such as diagramming or drawing pictures, to organize and understand information—methods she used to succeed on her own test.
In her free time, Katie enjoys playing soccer, trying new restaurants, and playing video games.
