If feelings of stress and doubt ever overwhelm you while studying for or taking the LSAT, if mental replays of yesterday’s LR section impinge on other areas of your life, or if you’re interested in injecting more excitement and connection into your vision for your life and law school future (a genuine possibility!), then please join me for this workshop on mindfulness. We will collaboratively discuss what exactly mindfulness even is, then have a prolonged direct experience of mindfulness practice, and then discuss specific and immediately actionable applications to our lives and to the LSAT. Whether you’ve never practiced mindfulness before or are a seasoned practitioner, this is an opportunity to discover and experience the benefits (increased attentional/emotional regulation, stress reduction, and more) applied directly to our personal lives!

Benjamin is an experienced teacher with a background in language, philosophy, and rhetoric. His approach to teaching focuses on breaking complex problems into manageable pieces. He believes that success on the LSAT is based on developing strategies and thought structures that help a student read between the lines of what each question is asking. Benjamin has had the opportunity to study seven different languages and has lived in Colombia, the United States, China, Canada, and Hungary. Besides tutoring for the LSAT, he teaches English and classical Hebrew and works semi-professionally as a writer. In his free time, Benjamin enjoys playing violin and roasting coffee.
