Previously, when selecting a Q-Type tag (like MBT) and a Stim Logic tag (like Conditional Reasoning), you'd get questions tagged MBT OR CondR. But we've found that most students and tutors prefer an AND relationship in that situation. They'd really want to target conditional-based MBT questions and prefer to minimize other kinds of questions.

Here's how the filters work now:

Multiple tags within the same category: OR

Example: Must Be True, Sufficient Assumption = MBT OR SA

Example: Conditional Reasoning, Causal Reasoning = CondR OR CausR

Multiple tags across different categories: AND

Example: Sufficient Assumption, Causal Reasoning = SA AND CausR

Example: Must Be True, Sufficient Assumption, Conditional Reasoning, Causal Reasoning = (MBT OR SA) AND (CondR OR CausR)

You know what would be a great idea? When you are doing drills or reviewing preptests and just finished watching a video explanation (from my King Kevin), sometimes you want to do questions that are similar to the question that you got wrong on the preptest. So maybe have a function that allows you to pull 2 questions of equal difficulty and of the same tag to the quetion that you got wrong. So you can do a practice question using the skills that you just learned while in the PrepTest review. It could be called something like Instant Recall and would be a button next to Discussion.

Here are some pairings I recommend:

Want to practice diagramming and conditional-heavy questions?

Select: Must Be True, Sufficient Assumption, Parallel, Parallel Flaw, Conditional Reasoning, Quantifier

You're likely to get a high % of diagram-y questions. (But don't assume that every question requires diagramming, even if it has the CondR or Quantifier tags.)

Want to practice causal reasoning questions involving the phenomenon-hypothesis structure?

Select: Strengthen, Weaken, Causal Reasoning (can consider adding Method of Reasoning, Flaw, Necessary Assumption)

You're likely to get a high % of questions that involve framing the argument in terms of the phenomenon/observation and the author's hypothesis/explanation. You'll also get some other argument structures (like net effect reasoning), too, so don't assume every question will involve the same thought process.
