i'm just confused on how this passage is only a 3 star difficulty

Hi! This is a few months late but I wanted to explain my thinking for eliminating A:

So, we're trying to find an answer choice that shows why it's smarter to have diverse ads as opposed to non-diverse ads. AC A) doesn't really accomplish this task, though! It's talking about non-diverse ads and the unexpected consequence of appealing to a larger demographic than expected.

BUT, we're interested in why DIVERSE ads are a better method! We don't really care about how a NON-DIVERSE ad could sometimes appeal to more people than intended. That's not our focus and it's out of scope!

Also, the word "sometimes" makes this answer choice less powerful in terms of strengthening, especially when compared to AC D. Hope this helps :)

Isn't E leaving out a large assumption, though, that the landlord will buy the cheapest appliance? And that the cheaper the appliance, the more energy inefficient it is? I feel like there are so many holes in the correct AC—even though I got it right, it seems like a stretch??
