The "logic games" IYKYK are surprisingly really good. I'm not sure just how good they will be for the real deal, but they seem to give good practice of deriving the formal arguments from English or identifying flaws from English. I'm just requesting that the mobile interface be worked on because it's practically unusable on mobile to really use as a game on the go. Cheers.
Thank you very much for the elaborate comment. I completely agree with getting down to a strategy per question type and per question type w/reasoning used in the passage. I'm in a weird spot where I have to build up skills to answer in time, build stamina to take four sections, and also brush up on fundamentals. I'll take your advice and just really hone in on the question types for now. I don't think more PT's will be useful for me at this very moment anyway—I felt myself blanking out several times yesterday and today while taking the PT's. Best of luck to the both of us.
PT 144: Score 159. Too many PT's are frying my brain it seems, meaning that they're getting a little counterproductive. Going to review wrong answer journal today and do the BR for PT 144 tomorrow. Possibly PT two days from today. Going to explore avenue of using tutoring depending on how next PT goes.
Your physical condition matters a lot. It doesn't matter how well you have the fundamentals down if the words in front of you literally don't even get into your head. Get a good night's rest; eat something light but nutritious; and get a workout in.
Not necessarily the goal but only way to get better is to collect more data on what I suck at, analyze them, figure how to not do them again, then apply on future PTs/real deal.
Well, you're in much better shape than I am but would glad to give any knowledge I can to help you! Would appreciate RC tips from you as well. I usually do well if I digest the passage but sht the on the last passages (as per the photo) because I run out of time.
Thanks for the tip. I do find what's most helpful is really getting the fundamentals down so I can quickly and confidently get past "cookie-cutter" questions and spend a little more time on q's that take a little more brainpower. Best of luck to both of us.
Shoot me some questions. I'd be glad to walk you through my thought processes.
Day 1 of making this exam my btch moreso. Thx for the encouragement though!!!
I'm struggling to close the gap between my timed and untimed scores. I'd like to study and explain my thought process to anyone who's studying. Would help with the anxiety and also help each other really solidify understanding of fundamentals to LSAT. Also, if anyone has advice on how to close the gap between timed and untimed, I'm willing to learn.
I'm in a similar situation. I think you just have to keep brushing up on fundamentals because once you have that shit locked down, you're able to just quickly and confidently select AC on those questions then spend more time on q's that require more attention. If you want to study together, we should study together.
