I would recommend to take it in July! If anything, go in with the attitude that it is a practice test. Although I hope your studies go well, there is no guarantee that you will feel more prepared come September. I think you should take the LSAT come July, and you can choose to reschedule it anytime up to a year after that. So let's say, worse case scenario, you don't feel ready come September, you could take it November or even January. If you start fall classes come August (twelve or fifteen credits) you might feel even more flustered and September might be even worse.

I think the only one they see is if you dont show up without canceling. Other than that, I think you're okay to cancel or reschedule however many times

I think your best bet would be to buy the PTs from 7Sage and use their digital tester.

Hey guys, I just started studying for the LG portion of the exam. I was wondering if you had any tips for learning what to look for in the answer choices. For example if the question stem asks, "All of the following could be true except . . . " JY, without skipping a beat, says okay we are looking for 1 Must be false and the 4 others could be true. Not the best example, but its the best I could come up with right now haha. Thank you in advance!

@ I think you are burning out. Your LR scores taking a dive might be the fruit of you trying to do too much. You might just be wasting valuable PTs. If you really really really feel like you can't stop taking them, then just start retaking ones you've already taken. You should be able to get 180 on them. If missing one bothers you that much, review the crap out of it and if you are reviewing properly you have no reason to get them wrong again. Good luck!

JY recommends 1 or 2 a week. I think you might be doing too much without giving yourself a chance to process and learn from your mistakes. There is another post that asks about how long BR should take. If you are scoring within 170+, then I think it is totally reasonable to finish BR the same day you take the test. If not, then BR should take more than a day. Right now I am taking 1 PT a week with BR. I hope to increase that to 2 (MAYBE 3). It all depends how I am scoring.

How to do I pin an entire game?

Hey everyone! Quick question, how do I pin an entire game? When I review, I have the option to pin individual questions for the game and even star the explanation but I can't seem to figure out how to pin the entire game. I want the entire game to be pinned for when I make problem sets to drill. Thank you in advance!

@ First, dont let this test make you feel incompetent! That is the lie it wants you to believe to discourage you from kicking its butt. In the grand scheme of things you haven't been studying for too long. Some people study a minimum of a year for this test! Now onto your question. If all you have completed is the LG Bible and Kaplan's LG book, then yes 7Sage will be a HUGE step in the right direction. What you will find through the prep course is the skills you need to successfully tackle questions. At first you will most likely see no benefit when it comes to speed. Speed will come as you begin to form strong habits. (Strong habits are skills that you begin to intuit without much effort. If you don't have a game plan at how to approach certain question types and know what to look for, then you are loosing valuable time on the test. Speed will also come with familiarity. Im not sure how many practice exams or drills you have done, but the more you do the easier it will become. 5 months in my opinion, is enough time. You have to study smart though and 7Sage will give you the tools and the skills needed to do so. I am no LSAT guru, but I can testify with how 7Sage has helped me. I started with a 148 and a blind review score of 158. I just took a PT yesterday and my score was 158 with a blind review score of 163! I am still in the LR portion of the course and I can't wait to see what happens over the next few months. Hope this helps you make an informed decision! Good luck with your studies!

I agree with @. Do you feel ready ? Only sign up for the LSAT if you feel ready to crush it. Don't go in blind or hoping for the best. If not, it is better to hold off. If you take it in November, I think you should have the mindset that this is going to be your last time and you are confident that you are going to preform well.

Hey! I recommend you just drill. It's impossible to say how many LGs you are going to need to do in order to foolproof it. If anything, I think you should drill on previous games. Set aside games that you don't feel like you have 100% down and go back to them every so often.

It is always possible to improve any section! One helpful tool I heard regarding RC was to start reading difficult texts on your own in your day to day life. Maybe start reading for 30 minutes before bed.

As for your nerves, can you identify why you are nervous? Is there a particular game type you don't quite understand? Are their skills that you still don't feel like you have a grasp on? I would try to identify why you don't feel confident in your ability to do full length PTs and just start tackling them one by one. Your confidence in taking the test should, hopefully, increase over time.

Hope this helps! Good luck

They have a highlighter/underline feature. I highly recommend getting acquainted with it! 7Sage has an amazing digital tester where you can play around with it. You could also take notes on the scratch paper for example you might jot down paragraph 2 - "insert word here." I'm not recommending this, but it is something that could work if you weren't satisfied with the highlighter/underline feature.

Dude first, great job! If I were you I would watch JY's explanation of the game and then solve the game after he explained it. Put the game aside and come back every so often and just drill the heck out of the games you have already done. You should mix it up and make some question sets if you are struggling with a particular game type. Drill Drill Drill. Good luck studying!

Yes! Under Resources click LSAT Analytics and you can see all the PTs! Click the PT you want and you can take it as a digital version or you can choose to fill in the bubble sheet like before. There is even an awesome BR feature for when you finish!

@ Yes, there is a pen on one side and the stylus on the other. Its a chubby pen and it is kinda loud. Rather than clicking the top, you twist it and the pen pops out.I found myself just using the pen portion of it. The tablets work fine without the stylus. When it comes to highlighting in RC the stylus is useful but you can get by without it.

(can I be the assistant regional manager or at least the assistant TO the regional manager?)

Yes and yes. Just make sure they are normal pencils and not mechanical.

We get a stylus that doubles as a pen and on-screen stylus. It is not the surface stylus. No, you do not get a keyboard. There is no way to annotate the text as you read unless you want to take notes in your scratch paper. The 7Sage digital test taker is just like the LSAC one.

If I were you, I would drill practice tests 36-66. Im not sure how accurate it is, but I have heard that tests 1-36 are slightly more difficult (the LG at least). I would also drill 1-36 as timed sections making sure to do BR. Maybe come mid September I would start taking 67+ full length Pt's but no more than one or two a week. Whatever you choose to do don't forget to blind review!

So I'm not familiar with LSATDemon, but 7Sage has an amazing question bank and video explanation feature. If you go under Resources > Problem Sets, you can customize drills you want to do, take it digitally or create a PDF, and there is even an option to do BR! Depending on what package you have you will have more or less practice material available. 7Sage only uses REAL LSAT questions. Rest assured, when you're studying you wont be practicing on a fake question.

The give you a little packet of scratch paper. It is blank (no lines). You can use the paper for any portion of the test. They will also give you a stylus that works both on the tablet and doubles as a pen. You are still allowed to use pencils and erasers on the scratch paper (no highlighters).
