As someone that got a 156 in 2018, and in the 160-165 range on June 2019, I feel my perspective could be of use. I don't think it really matters. If you decide to keep it, and you rewrite to get a higher score, most schools only take your highest score regardless. I think Calgary (and maybe UofA?) are the only Canadian schools that average scores - UBC, Toronto, Queens, Western, and Dal, only look at your highest. On the other hand, if you're trying to get into medium (think Queens/Western) to top tier (UofT/UBC) school, you should be in the 160+ range, so you're gonna have to retake anyways. Therefore, no harm in cancelling.

All that to say, I wouldn't spend a lot of mental energy debating the merits of cancelling or not. You'd probably be better off spending that time studying or enjoying the last days summer :)

Hi everyone :)

I'm trying to annotate my 7sage PDF downloads on a Samsung tablet, but not having much luck. I've tried uploading the pdfs to Adobe, OneNote, Squid, and several others. After entering my pw, I am able to view the pdf, but when I attempt to edit I get a message along the lines of "tool not available because the doc is password protected". Has anyone else found a remedy to this problem? Do not want to print out all the worksheets, and want to get comfortable working digitally.

Thanks,

CS

Hey! I'm from Surrey too :) Took June and taking Sept, applying this cycle. Is there any way we can private message on this site?

I'm not sure about a winter coat, but I know when I've taken it the proctors have made people tuck in the hoods of their hoodies. This makes me think that you cannot wear a winter coat into the testing room, as you would not be able to tuck a winter coat hood in.

Everything you need must fit in your clear ziplock bag (water bottle, wallet, keys, etc..).

Don't bring your cell phone, leave it in the car or at home - they're very picky about cell phones and you don't need any added stress.

Good luck!

Tips for Digital RC

Hey Team,

I'm taking September and have noticed that my RC scores have not improved nearly as much as my LG and LR's have. I think this may have to do with switching to the digital format. I was studying on paper in May, then switched to a tablet in July. I find the format awkward to navigate and cumbersome to look back in the text. Of course annotation is limited now as well. Does anyone have any tips on making notes/highlighting in digital RC, or more broadly digital RC advice?

Thanks!

I apologize if this question doesn't really belong in here, but I was wondering if someone could give me insight on how similar 7sage's digital PT's are to the actual LSAT. Any insight will be much appreciated!

Hey @, the digital PTs on 7Sage are quite similar to the real ones. You can collapse answer choices, eliminate them or restore them by taping on the answer choices beside it, and you can highlight, make the font bigger or smaller, adjust the brightness, see the timer, and erase highlights. I would practice on digital PTs on 7Sage as a simulation for the real thing.

The 4th game on my only LG - the brewery one - was insanely hard. Anyone else think so?

I'd highly recommend against doing a PT everyday.. when I started studying I (naively) took PT everyday. In retrospect my test review was basically pointless because I was exhausted form writing an entire PT. Use your blind review to tear apart each question.. sometimes it takes me 3 days to finish my blind review. Like JR says - if you get a question wrong, watch the video then do the Q 10x until you memorize each of the inferences/methods of reasoning... good luck! :)

Test Day Arrival

How early do you need to arrive at the testing centre for the 12:30pm writing on November 25th? Like is an hour too early or not enough?

Anyone who unlocks the solution to this conundrum will be a very rich human (or very popular with 7Sagers) LOL. I think practice practice practice would be the solution, although I know that is what you do not want to hear. You can take solace in the fact that you are probably testing quite high on your BR, which means that you fundamentally understand the concepts, but time is your limiting factor. I'm in the same boat, I BR at like 175 but am usually 10-12 points below that under timed conditions. I feel your pain!!
