Thank you for the clarification.
This is exactly why I made a mistake too by choosing "C"-- "You assume that the people who constructed the buildings were aware of the pulses, but they just never put a name to them".

I am also considering moving my test from June to September... I don't feel ready :(
If you're not ready it seems as though you already have your answer. Don't be upset about it! It's way better to be self-aware and move it then to not be as prepared as you can be and take it.
Do people ever feel "ready" to take the LSAT? I am concerned that I postpone and then comes September and I still won't feel ready...
I scored 163 on last PT- but it was not timed... the highest I have gotten timed has been 149 (averaging 146.8)- so, there is a lot of room for improvement when it comes to doing the timed exams... Do you think I would be able to improve my speed reading without jeopardizing quality with additional practice?
I am on a similar boat- not sure if to postpone or commit to June.... I have until the 16th to decide (today and... tomorrow)- Ahhhh!!!
I scored 163 on my last PT - great BUT it was not timed :( I feel as though I really need to work on speed! I do not know if June is enough to improve
I don't know... regardless whether I do it now or in September, I can't get into the school that I am shooting for until next October... but at the same time, I don't want to feel as though I keep on postponing...I want to do the LSAT and move on with my life (sort of speak). At the same time, I am a registered nurse and work Full-Time (M-F)- unfortunately, that does not leave me with me with much spare time to dedicate to studying.... so, I don't know... any advise/guidance would be welcomed.
I am also considering moving my test from June to September... I don't feel ready :(
Thank you! Very well explained... now I understand why I got it wrong...
Same here! Totally understood the premise and anticipated the correct answer....BUT that "absentee rate" it the answer choice threw me off completely... made me think it was a trick answer choice :(
Congrats!!!!!!!
That is a BIG accomplishment! Very happy for you! :)
Thank you!!!
You explained it very clearly! I get it now :)
I also just found this PDF version for PT 1-40 on ebay. I bought it since 39 and 40 are in it :)
Admin: Removed link. PDFs are not allowed to be distributed/sold.
Just found this one on Amazon- has PT 43, 44, 45 for about $13.

I fell for A... thinking what in the heck do horses have to do with seals! They got me.
HY + IC is as good as SH + IC (stimulus)
So, if SH is powerful (answer choice C), and HY is equally effective as SH (stimulus) --> then , HY is powerful too (assumption).... of course, with IC being a constant in both scenarios.
This is probably the best explanation but then it brings about another question... what is the difference in assumption between this and "D" where "few" drivers in the city have complied with the new seat belt law and yet the deaths are still high?
I thought the same way when reading this question...
The way I see it... well after listening to JY :
They are talking about (the focus is on) BOOKS!!! Not the traditional school itself!
So, books assisted in giving rise to traditional schools (way back then)...and now these books are being subsittuted with "electronic media" (i.e. eBooks).... this does NOT mean that physical books are NECESSARY for traditional schools to LIVE ON!!!!
As traditional schools COULD live-on with just using eBooks and other forms of electronic media.
Interesting... when I read the stimulus in english, it felt like a valid argument. Heck, I have even been in some courses where that was applicable- back in grade school. It was not until I saw it translated into Logic, that answer choice B made sense.
Congrats!!! Very happy for you
