So yes they still see it, they see all college grades.
Yes, unfortunately. I have a 3.58 but if you took away my freshman year, 13 year ago, it would be a 3.9.
I didn't really understand why you were saying that the babblers wanted the predators to hear them. I don't see that mentioned anywhere. They could be babbling because of a nervous habit. The reason D is wrong is because the predators having weak hearing is a pointless statement. The stimulus says that the predators hear the babbling and it alerts them to the location of their prey. So even if they have the worlds worst hearing, it is still good enough to be alerted.
S1Q17 - I think you have to assume that the city of Gastner and the suburbs are separate cities, and therefore the city's attempt to relieve traffic congestion is only pertaining to the downtown area. When I read this question I assumed they meant they were trying to relieve congestion getting to downtown, not in downtown itself. I then chose C because of course if you install new lights then the average commute from the suburbs to downtown will get slower, which is what I thought they were talking about. I really don't like this question because you have to assume things and it seems easy to interpret it different ways. I just thought the entire area we were talking about was part of Gastner. They are talking about relieving traffic so I thought they had crappy roads getting into the city that kept getting backed up and they built a highway to accommodate the number of commuters better, thereby relieving congestion. Being a high 160's/low 170s tester, I would like to think my logic is sound.
I honestly do better on RC when I just read the passage and answer the questions and don't try to get cute with annotations and note taking. All of that just seems to distract me, but if I just simply read the passage just like a read a book and then answer the questions then I will get 90 percent of them right and I will be faster.
Maybe it is just me but I feel like this question stem is just ridiculous. I mean it says it overlooks each of the follow except, which to me means pick the one it doesn't overlook, which to me means the answer choice needs to be something the author took into account in the stimulus. I couldn't decide on any answer because it seemed like they were all overlooked. Even B was overlooked, it is a ridiculous answer but it was overlooked, just like the sky being blue and the birds chirping was overlooked. It might not be relevant, but it was overlooked.
