@scotb38445 , what ended up happening? I'm in the same boat as you now as I apply to law schools (higher GPA but not as good LSAT score) - I wonder if I have a chance?

Haven't been on my account for a while so sorry for the late reply! I will definitely try all the things you have all mentioned. Thank you for your detailed responses, I really appreciate it.

I guess, whoever said that "practice makes perfect" wasn't lying.

Inference and Flaw

I'm finding a pattern where the questions I mostly get wrong are inference and flaw, more so inference however.

I don't have a problem diagramming (at least I think I don't) but I seem to be misunderstanding the questions a lot!

What do you guys suggest? Am I overthinking the questions, how can I improve in these two types of questions?

Thanks!

Thanks guys, I'm going to focus on games from now on.

I really like your schedule, and I'm going to attempt to replicate it :)

I am scoring low on LG (I miss about -10 to -12 every time), I find that I can only do about 3/4 games so I need to improve speed and some accuracy.

Thanks for the help guys!

How many PTs is too many PTs?

Just wondering, how many PTs are you guys doing now that we have 3 weeks left to go ...

I don't want to burn myself out and I want to actually absorb what I'm learning, however I haven't done too many PTs (maybe like 5 full ones, even though I've been studying part-time since March) so would a PT every day be too much (1 timed, the next day untimed and so on) .... or should I stick to 2-3 per week? Also, I'm planning to study 8-10 hours a day until test day.

I started with a 140, last PT was 151, aiming for 160 on the 24th. Too ambitious? My part-time studying hasn't allowed me to fully absorb the material which is why I haven't increased my score as much as I wanted to :(

Thank you for any responses!

For anyone still struggling with this issue, and is taking the December exam, the way I fixed this issue was using lunapic (http://www196.lunapic.com/editor/) - you upload your picture and you choose the pixels you want (which would be 195 x 195, according to LSAC)

To anyone who sees a white gap, the bad example they give clearly shows a huge white gap, so I wouldn't be worried too much but then again this is just my opinion

It didn't work on my Mac but I used Lunapic (http://www196.lunapic.com/editor/) and it worked for me :)

Thank you though @zohaiba364.a!

LSAC Photo

Hey guys,

So as I'm looking at my LSAC photo, there's a small white gap between the picture and the border, so my picture is not 2x2 but it's very close - are they going to be anal about this or is it fine?

I've tried taking so many pictures and they all have the same issue.

Please help!

I have a fear...

I have a fear that come actual test day I will be nervous and revert to my old habits and everything I have taught myself will disappear, could this be possible?

Thanks for all the support guys, I really appreciate your feedback, it keeps me going even though I'm sick and tired of LSATing.

@gregoryalexanderdevine723 I took a course (HarvardReady - I live in Canada) from March to May (which consisted of 100 hours of instruction) but did only 50% of the assigned homework since I was in university full time. I stopped studying after May because of my full time work schedule, but I restarted in July. I have been doing about15-20 hours a week, which I know is not enough considering I'm taking the September LSAT. My diagnostic in March was an embarrasing 140; in July it was a sad 147 (thanks to my lack of doing homework and working and studying full time year round). With my revamped study schedule (studying for at least 25 hours a week) and using the Powerscore books, I'm aiming for a 160. I should add, my 147 consisted of me missing 10-12 questions per section.

Do you think this is reasonable?13 points in less than 2 months might seem significant, however I know I have the skills and foundations somewhere in my head and now I just need to keep practicing and refining them. Thank you for your help.

Thank you Zachary, your encouragement helps because I've been feeling really upset with myself whenever I attempt logical reasoning. Best of luck in your studies!

What's wrong with me?

So regardless if I take a timed or untimed test, I only get half of the logical reasoning questions right. The first 10-12 I get right and then it goes downhill. Does this mean that my foundation and understanding for logical reasoning is not good enough? Problem is I feel confident about a lot of my answers :/. Please help me in how I can improve my poor logical reasoning scores!

Will this be helpful even if I'm applying in Canada?
