C, D, and E were easy to eliminate for me.
I went back and forth on A, which I ultimately determined was wrong because it seemed to refer to two totally different characteristics, whereas I thought that there was one characteristic (quality of reproduction) attributed to both reproductions in the stimulus.
I know JY says B is "total nonsense", but honestly it seemed totally fine to me except that I am always weary of similar topics in answers to parallel flaw questions, as that's a common trap tactic. In retrospect B actually seems like a true statement, which would obviously count it out as having a parallel flaw.
I didn't register that only 1,000 readers were surveyed, but that piece of info makes this an easier question. The correct answer will ask a question the answer to which reveals the # of people that chose something other than 1984. Only B does that.
