All three were 25 questions for me. I'm concerned about the first LR, there was heavy construction just outside my window during the first section and it really threw me off, making me guess 5 LR questions at the end. Whether or not I will cancel depends a lot on if I can decipher whether or not this was experimental or not. It seems like it wasn't because I vaguely remember the city revenues question being in the first section.

By the way, if I call LSAC and let them know about the disturbances outside, is there anything concrete that they would be willing to do or would they just shrug and say "tough luck"?

Yea, I'm on there. Everyone seems to remember the specific question types but can't remember which LR section it was in. I just remembered that the first LR had a question about the city leasing/revenues. Does that click for anyone that DIDN'T have LR experimental?

I know it's real, I just can't remember if it was in the first LR section or subsequent LR sections for people with the set-up such as mine.

The last game was a killer for most people, which leads me to hope that even with -12 a 170 is still possible (curve). This is the only reason I'm considering not cancelling and just seeing my darn score. Ugh.

7sagelsatstudent180 - TBH I think I struggled with another game as well but ran out of time to review it, that's why I'm considering another cancel. I've read in a lot of other forums that all they really care about is your highest score.

Yea I definitely agree that I don't want to come off as a whiner or as a person who makes excuses, but then again I'm positive that my score yesterday doesn't reflect my potential. So the question remains whether to cancel a second time or keep the score. I'm retaking anyway in December -- its decided.

Dr. Yamata, It's more like one game fully guessed and I ran out of time for another one. So around -10/12 for LG (assuming I get the rest correct), and since I don't know whether or not the first LR was experimental or not, that's another potential -5. So all together, I'm looking at around -17 with everything else being perfect (which it most likely wont be). Overall, I'm thinking about -25.

In a similar situation myself. I cancelled LSAT in December 2014 due to family issues (father passed away). Just took LSAT June 2015 and the last logic game really threw me off, plus there was construction outside during the first LR section (I had three, one experimental) so I ended up guessing on the last five questions of the first LR.

I'm considering cancelling again, because I'm sure that even with a curve, I will be nowhere near my average PT which was 166-170 (I would get into every law school I applied to with my PT scores). I would like to know how most law schools would look at a cancel-cancel-(166-170) score (assuming that I explain myself in the addendum)? OR should I just keep the score and have a cancel-155?-166/170?

Advice is greatly appreciated.

@ Thanks for the input. Lets say that I apply this cycle and don't get into any school that I would like to attend and I decide to retake the LSAT in December and reapply --- can I still use the same personal statement and "why do you want to attend x law school" essays? Or would it be better to re-write something new for the 2017 cycle?

No idea to be honest; I've always thought the same. June is always curved the worst, Dec the easiest.

same boat you guys, I thought it was smooth sailing until i got to LG. 3rd and 4th game almost entirely guessed on. im hoping that some of those guesses are correct (went with C for the heck of it) and that there is a lenient curve.

Yes, the one before LG (3rd LR) was somewhat easier compared to the other two. It was 26 questions. I really hope the first LR was experimental, found it ridiculously difficult right off the bat.

had an LR-RC-LR-LR-LG test. I'm trying to figure out which LR was experimental. Does anyone remember something about lemurs? What about dino nostrils/ocean vessels?

So pissed off because it was generally smooth sailing until I got to LG. Game 3 had no chill, guessed on all 5. Game 4 was also meh.

I'm guessing at least a -12 curve.

@ Thanks for your advice. I was also considering option B, but I'm wondering how law schools view 4 lsat attempts. Does it matter? Will it matter if i hit a high 160 score on my fourth take?

I need solid advice

Long story short: I took the LSAT 3 times. First time was a cancel>149>153. In all my PT's my range was 160-166, so to say that I am devastated with my score is an understatement. I know I am intelligent and I know that my actual LSAT scores aren't indicative of my abilities. My LSDAS GPA is 3.1 and regular GPA is 3.4 (switched majors from hard science to humanities). I have work experience in the legal field, good LORs, and a solid personal statement. My question is more about which direction to take moving forward. I can:

a) attend a sub-par law school and attempt to transfer to a top 30 after 1L.

b) retake the LSAT in December 2016, improve significantly, apply for 2017 admission.

c) apply for a bunch of reach/safe schools, if I don't get into any school I want, then wait it out a year and take the LSAT in Dec. 2016; reapply.

Any advice/input would be immensely appreciated.

LSAT 75 and new lsat trends

I usually score 166-168. My lowest PT has been 161. I just took the June 2015 LSAT (75) fully timed and tanked it at 156. I'm taking the LSAT this Saturday and I'm freaking out because this will be my last shot at this test. Is it possible that it was just PT 75 in particular that was so difficult or is there a noticable trend among newer LSATs? I feel like the answer choices have gotten significantly more tricky, RC is more time consuming/tricky, and that 72 and 75 both had at least one odd game (the fourth game in both). Did anyone else have particular difficulty with this exam? Are June LSATs harder compared to others?
