@tonykim Let's say the Maximum capacity on the grid is 100 MW. 20 MW on lights, 20 MW on Ovens, 20 MW on Miscellaneous, and 20 MW on AC. Then, during the heat wave, the oven "overloaded" to 50 MW. Now, suppose residents reduce their AC usage; maybe it drops from 50 to 40. A is a very weak statement because it can be totally true; 20 MW can be pretty significant. A better answer would be that the x miscellaneous increased during the heat wave.
