I was stuck between C and D and ended up picking C because while D seems more damning you realize it doesn't actually address the authors conclusions (NEW pesticides over OLD) even though it hints at the overall inadequacy of the NEW pesticides but we aren't comparing the NEW to no pesticide use at all we are comparing it to the OLD
