I have scheduled my November test which hopefully will give me some extra points and I will retake AGAIN in January. Unsure about when to send the applications though.

This is to say to OP don't lose hope! Do drills and make sure you use the study plan... and maybe find a tutor? :( I know for a fact that I lack some fundamentals.
