Hello! I recently got feedback on my application from 7sage's mock admissions committee. I had 5 readers of my application and one of them said an explanation would be helpful to explain 2 Cs I have on my transcript. For context, the 2 Cs are really for one class, it was just such a high workload class that the credit allocation was split across 2 classes (so it shows up as a 4 credit class and a 2 credit class, but it was just one 6 credit class in actuality).

There weren't extenuating circumstances, it was just a difficult class, so I'm not sure if it's worth writing an addenda for, especially if it draws attention to the grades in a negative way.

Does anyone have advice for whether I should write an addenda or not?

I eliminated D because the passage says the Konate family made sculptures for 5 different ethnic groups, but not masks for those groups. Instead I picked B (which I didn't love) because it seemed like it had some elements of a correct idea (that distinctly different carving styles were used), even though I knew it would be very possible that, for example, all members of the family know all the styles, so the styles used between family members are not different at all, making B incorrect. But I still picked it because the passage didn't specifically say masks. Any advice on what to say to myself in this case and in general when I'm picking between two answer choices that I know are both flawed?
