@HilarySackor I have no idea if this is relevant or if it will help you but what I have found that helps me with these type of questions is I read the entire stim, i then basically read it again without reading the conclusion/hypothesis and see which other answer choice could make sense with the support. basically which answer choice could be a "better" conclusion/hypothesis. thats helped me so far!
youre basically finding an alternative conclusion, one that could basically be used instead of the one thats provided in the original stim. finding an alternative one would weaken the argument thats given. hope this helps
Hi! Welcome to this journey! i started about 3 weeks ago and i do pen/paper. I usually just do really important parts + examples. I also did flash cards of important terms (like argument types, modifiers, quantifiers, etc.).
I had a professor in undergrad that told me you remember the things you learn when you physically write it down and it kind of just always stuck with me.
Wishing you all the best!
was between A and C (idk why I was between C), and of course, I chose C. Chose A in my BR. I do not like these question types.
i was down to B & D and chose B at first and in my BR i chose D because i was like wait waller never said anything about skeptics..
@LauraBolivar i did the same and I think E would be right in the sense of a sufficiency/necessity question type (i might be wrong but thats what im thinking from his explanation).
i got it wrong and i completely understand why now. is it finally clicking??? i hope so
i feel like i can understand what is being said and how to dissect the argument in my head but i keep messing up on connecting the conditionals and when i write it down it seems like im flipping the conditions
im slight confused .. someone please help me understand. this is what i broke it down into on my notes
if i am a cat then i am a mammal - sufficient
BUT
if i am a mammal, im not necessarily a cat. i can be a mammal without being a cat - necessary
like
if im in miami then im in florida - sufficient
BUT
if im in florida it doesnt necessarily mean that im in miami because i could be in orlando and still be in florida - neccesary
am i getting this right...??
4/5. 5 really got me. I switched the conclusion and the premise and even second guessed if it was an argument
Hi everyone! My name is Jesselyn and I am planning to take the LSAT in June. I graduated from undergrad in 2022 and took the LSAT in 2021 but I did not receive a competitive enough score. I decided to take some time off to gain law firm experience and am now restarting my journey. I am from Miami, Florida and looking forward to studying alongside all of you!
@RyanAlexander I thought the same lol
