LSAT advice / motivation?

I took my first LR timed practice today (I've been drilling untimed enough to begin this timed practice). However, I got -7 on it. This isn't terrible IMO, but it isn't particularly motivating knowing that untimed I can do at least -5. Any tips on how to flatten this last bit out? Any tips on acing the section? Thanks!

I believe the little lightbulb explanations for why A is correct is wrong - but I may be wrong instead! It says "if the passengers can't see the water, then they wouldn't be receiving conflicting information". Isn't it the case that, during a rough voyage, not seeing the water would cause conflicting information? I believe this is affirmed because the answer choice itself says for those that CAN see the water (in the room) are less likely to get motion sickness. Thus, they're the ones without conflict (boat is shaking and you can see why - the water).
