Hey guys, just wrote the LSAT for the 3rd time, and wanted to share a little piece of advice, especially for those with test anxiety.
99% of people are stressed out when they first sit down, you're likely no different. My best piece of advice is once you sign into the program, take a couple deep breaths, and DO NOT begin until you've calmed down - at least a bit. Use the fact that you must manually start you test to your advantage, if it takes you 10 minutes from when the proctor sits you down, so be it.
Use the break wisely. Go to the bathroom even if you don't think you need to, eat something even if you're not hungry (nothing to heavy) and decompress for a couple seconds. Your brain needs it!
Don't overreact when you leave the test room. My first time writing I left feeling miserable, and ended up scoring 6 points higher then I was "guess" 160->166. My second time writing I thought I beat the LSAT and was internally thinking 170+. I got a 162. It goes to show that with a multiple-choice test, you simply don't know and there is no point of stressing out for three weeks. What's done is done!
Goodluck!
You got it! Trust your work!
