Hi stranger! First of all, if you're already in the 160s only five months in, that's already a huge accomplishment!! I wouldn't let the plateau get you down too much. The LSAT is like the gym, and whenever I hit a plateau in the gym, it doesn't necessarily mean my progress has stalled- it just means I need to work a little harder toward the next step because my “baseline” has changed.

In regard to the motivation part, a little tough love: relying on motivation won't get you very far with this exam. I'm not saying you need to force yourself to study on the days when your brain isn't registering absolutely anything (I've had my fair share of those). What I am saying is that some days you might just be tired and talk yourself out of studying, even though, deep down, you know you can at least do an hour. I also try to keep myself occupied with other things that aren't the LSAT, or consume other LSAT-related content outside of my study sessions (YouTube, TikTok, podcasts, etc.). That way, I'm not oversaturated with LSAT content, and I avoid the temptation to compare myself to others on a journey that is so different for every individual. Finally- you are "cut out" for law school- don't be your biggest enemy! Doubting yourself is normal but don't let the anxiety creep in. You got this :)
