175 LSAT | Practicing Attorney | 3,500+ WyzAnt LSAT hours | 10+ year Pro Tutor

Hello! I graduated from WashU Law in Saint Louis, currently practice estate planning and business law here in Missouri, and have tutored the LSAT in some capacity since December 2015 - but I truly began to specialize in the summer of 2019. I scored a 175 on the November 2018 LSAT (formerly PrepTest 86, now PrepTest 153), have helped around 750 students prepare for the test, and am committed to the success of those who are on board and prepared to work hard to generate positive results. I've guided students to many 170+ results, with top scores as high as 179: 179 (1), 176 (1), 175 (3), and many more between 170 and 174. Some of my highest performing students (including some who didn't quite manage to crack 170) have achieved acceptance to one or more top US law schools - including UC Berkeley, UChicago, and Harvard University - and have the improved critical thinking skills required to succeed in law school.

@Marci Noted! I'm offering the first free 1.5-hr group session either tomorrow or Saturday, as you can see in the group chat, and we can separately discuss arranging any 1-on-1 sessions. Thanks for your comment!

Hello! I'm a top-rated tutor on WyzAnt (profile "Shane G.") and am just getting set up as an independent tutor on 7Sage - after having made 7Sage my top recommendation as a 1-on-1 or group session supplement for the past 6 years at least.

I'm planning to start a free 1.5 hr weekly LR-focused session, at a time convenient for both myself and those attending, which will largely take on a Q&A style. However, if I notice a pattern/trend in the questions asked, then the remainder of the session may stay devoted to that area (e.g., NA v. SA, conditional logic, etc.).

Positive by-products of the free weekly session for those attending may include finding others with whom to form their own study group (especially if student attendance ranges from 3 to 9 attendees), learning new ways to drill target areas (a strategy I highly recommend), and finding connections between LR question types based on the questions we cover together (7Sage's logic concept tags are great for this).

Please join the group if you're interested! We can then figure out how to best schedule the free weekly session.

Hello! I'm a practicing attorney who has tutored the LSAT in some capacity for over 10 years, has specialized on it for 7 years, and has a long, verifiable track record of success on WyzAnt (profile "Shane G.") - in case that's helpful as a reference point.

I've been practicing law for about 1.5 years now (licensed in October 2024), and because I work solo on both the legal and LSAT tutoring fronts, I fortunately have a good amount of flexibility with respect to how I build out my days / devote my time. That's been a high priority of mine for years, and because of that, I can typically figure out a meeting setup that works for the vast majority of students who contact me (including some overseas students currently).

That said, because I run my own law firm and am an expecting father (May 11 due date!!), I'm looking to keep sessions (both 1-on-1 and group) consistent. My intention is to offer 2-6 group sessions (1.5 hrs each) throughout the week depending on interest/scheduling, with each session comprised of 3-9 students per session, though the exact composition may vary for each session.

If you are interested in working with me 1-on-1 or in a group setting, please reply below or message me, starting your reply/message with "1-on-1", "Group", or "Both", and of course feel free to elaborate from there.

Thanks for your time and best of luck using 7Sage! It's an excellent platform and has been my top recommendation to students for at least the last 6 years. Please be sure to use the customizable drill feature heavily once you've gone through the core curriculum - best way to break through plateaus in my experience!
