Obviously B is the right answer choice but I think the explanation for C is wrong. I don't think we can just infer the use of "or" in the first sentence is exclusive and not inclusive. A better explanation is that answer choice C is irrelevant. Imagine a Venn diagram where one circle represents pin-tipped etching tools and the other represents bladed etching tools. If a subset of tools populates the shared area, we can still say they're used for engraving...
