@ thank you! I will try that. Do you know if we can take notes on every section on the LSAT flex? Maybe noting a bit would help me.

Getting from 165 to 170+ by February LSAT

I'm off school until February 1st, so I have unlimited time to do this. I've been studying since August and I really need to take this LSAT exam.

Here is where I'm at -

LR #1 - usually minus 6

LR #2 - usually minus 4

RC - anywhere from minus 3 to minus 7

LG - consistently minus 3 or minus 2

I'm pretty sure LG might get to minus 2, but otherwise I'm fine taking the minus 2. I really need to improve on LR and RC.

LR wise, I've been tracking which questions I get wrong and I mostly get these types wrong:

  • assumption
  • strengthen/support
  • resolve paradox
  • weaken
  • parallel reasoning
  • RC wise, I seem to get everything right on the first passage and then the third and fourth are where I have the hardest time. I am pretty sure my mind just gets tired by this time in the test. How do you resolve this problem? The questions I most get wrong here are:

  • specific author opinion
  • infer from detail
  • find an analogy
  • How do you all recommend I improve? Timing isn't really a problem for me, I usually have time left to check on LR and RC but I am really tired by then. Maybe I should spend more time on each question and more time checking over?

    Thank you in advance!

@ For T/S and D/S, from what I remember, the stim gave us no info about who was older between T or S and D and S for some of them. There is no like strict way to write this, it just was an easy way to see it for me.

I just got the email and signed up for my Feb flex the 20th. I was super worried about this and wanted to do it like how you did. They offered it like 8am to 8pm like the person above said, with multiple options at each time. It seems pretty easy to get the time you want.

Also I just reread what you wrote and I don't think it's true that tulips are the majority of the older trees. I don't see where it says that. Imagine you had 10 trees. You could have

    (Oldest to youngest)

    2T

    2S

    2M

    2S

    2D

    and that should satisfy things

Sometimes on MBT I draw ten dots and just visualize it.

You have the right approach. This is a tough one. I tried it when I saw your question here because it looked interesting. So I almost looked at this like a LG sequencing.

    We KNOW [oldest to youngest] T > M > D.

    Then, we know MOST S > M.

    This means we're looking at T/S > M > D/S.

Where more S are concentrated on the left side > M.

So answer choice E says "Some sycamores are not as old as the youngest tulip trees." Meaning, some of the sycamores on the right side of what I wrote [in the "> D/S"] are younger than the tulips.

    Does that make sense?

    Confirm action

    Are you sure?
