Answer Choice B -- "..unbroken history of dull performances." I was like, Damn LSAT, that's a hot take.
Reminds me of this from Family Guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpbdGnJbneE
Questions 11, 12, and now 13 on this PT are all 4 or 5 five difficulty. Rough to see such a tough Q stretch in the first half of the section!
This is where confidence, timing strategies, and skipping are key. Don't get down on yourself if you encounter this on test day -- you're struggling with these Qs for a reason, they're hard!
C was attractive to me because if foreign proponents attempt to influence the general public, they will be educating the general public.
Answer choice A also confuses a sufficient for a necessary condition. I chose it and moved on.
Especially tricky because AC B presents the cookie cutter in contrapositive form, making it tougher to spot.
I like the way you are thinking about inference questions! I'd have to give it a shot to confirm if it actually works as a technique. But I think different perspectives can be helpful on RC, regardless if is a 100% correct as a technique.
I have been thinking about inferences more generally when it comes to RC. It seems to me that every passage has an endless amount of inferences you can make from the information presented. Instead of doing this all up front after reading the passage, I'm trying to let the questions guide the more in depth inferences I make.
Anyways, not a direct response to your thought, but similar insofar as it is a different perspective on RC inferences.
Cheers!
