What is the deal with the really long pauses with this particular video? Was this meant to be a practice video or something and accidentally got posted?

I spoke with J.Y in mid-June and he said it takes them about 3 weeks to turn it around after the release date so it should be made available any day now.

When you get stuck take count of what's left. Next take count of the rules. How do the two interface? If you can't recognize anything then apply each rule one by one. After you do that if you've exhausted every rule the rest are simply free to float. This is always a good process to go through.

With regards to specific questions if it says what must be true and you're getting them frequently wrong its probably because your not exhausting all the possible scenarios and your just proving it "could be true" not "must be true." Make sure to keep doing scenarios until you've definitively eliminated the 4 wrong answer choices.

With regards to your set up how quickly are you setting up your games? Are you listing them all out in order and marking them on your master gameboard? If so can you do it any quicker than you currently do? When you create 3 or 4 scenarios are you able to fly through the questions in under 2 to 3 minutes or are you not able to see how the moving pieces fit together in your mind?

If your getting the rule replacement questions on the recent tests wrong don't fret it's 1/23 and if you really want to get the most difficult ones right you need to store up sufficient time to prove that the replacement works so don't consider this until you have all the games down pat with plenty of time to spare.

Lastly, drill, drill and drill some more. Get the Cambridge Complete LSAT bundle for 84.75 and do every logic game twice or three times. By the time your done you can do the Mauve Dinosaur game in your sleep, trust me LG can be mastered if you work hard enough and smart enough. You can do it, just keep at it and keep learning each day and the sky is the limit.

Question #4 The sentence that relates to (E) is 50-54 where it says "...using lichenometry requires careful site selection..." etc. The word "requires" is what stands out to me. Shouldn't that indicate that any situation that doesn't meet that requirement limits the usefulness of lichenometry?

I think you made a mistake on (D) the contrapositive of E --> DI is NOT /E --> /DI

You might want to fix that so as to not confuse your beginner/novice students. Otherwise, great explanation!

Just some broad things about LG: 1) if you want to get faster practice, practice, practice. It's cliche but when you do it enough it become second nature. 2) Try to make deductions up-front and I almost guarantee if you make a second or third deduction from that inference their will be a question on it. There's only so many questions they can ask you so try to anticipate the questions based upon your up-front diagramed scenarios. 3) Check previous work to make sure you're not doing extra work. More often than not you can eliminate several incorrect answers from the hypotheticals you've already done. 4) Selectively go through the answer choices. If your struggling with time then brute forcing your way through probably isn't the best option for you. If the answer choice says "each of the following could be true EXCEPT" don't try each one but instead but a little ~ (Theta) next to it as J.Y. does if it looks good and selectively go to the one that looks like it won't work or will have several complications because several rules trigger. 5) Keep track of time you need to finish the first two games within 15 minutes ALWAYS. Which means if your at 15 means and your not done game 1 & 2 you have a lot of work to do because this is not optional it's an absolute necessity. Games 3 & 4 will usually take 8-10 minutes a piece so if you don't store up a time bank for them your not going to get the results your looking for. Hope this helps, good luck on your studies!

Yes it can! I likewise took (and canceled the June 2013 LSAT) I've also read all the PowerScore books, all the Manhattan Books, taken BluePrint 2.0 course, taken the AlphaScore online course, and bought several Cambridge LSAT bundles and can tell you J.Y.'s explanations are the best -- if you buy the LG bundle and watch every LG explanation 1-68 after doing each game -0 is a virtual lock. If you buy the 7Sage Complete and go over every RC Passage PT45-69 and watch J.Y break it down there's no way the LSAT will fool you come test day. LR is great too, he really makes the embedded clauses, subtle tricks and convoluted stimulus passages so much easier -- you'll love this course, no joke -- it's super straightforward, easy to learn and very intuitive! As you can tell i'm a pretty huge fan, but don't take my word for it, check it out yourself.

I watched both explanations but I'm still a bit confused about C. The stimulus says "ALL" social systems are based upon division of economic roles. For ANY (meaning all) social system the intro of LST undermines those values. How is C even possible if all/any social systems are included within this grid of susceptible societies? If all societies are prone to economic stratification/specialization/roles w/prestige and for any SS where LST is introduced those values can be undermined how can they then say that there can be a society that exists that IS NOT SUSCEPTIBLE to such changes (isn't that precluded from the expansive language used in the stimulus?) I choose E because I thought the first 4 were not supported by the stimulus by POE, thanks!
