Yeah this feature would be amazing. In the meantime, I've made my own spreadsheet to keep track of my own trends. Here are some screenshots (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Zgo0-BQsrVzlIR_c_zHQI361p_-YAYWN?usp=sharing) of an individual section and a summary of all the PTs I've done. It's not as time-consuming as you'd think and it's super helpful for me. But sadly, as you can see, I've made no progress :(

omg is there anyway I can get a template of your journal and use it?

Ok, I got this wrong because when it said "bird species" I assumed there were a some species (x,y,z) outside of the NP and in high numbers. So for answer choice A I thought it was wrong because it applied to ALL birds and not just species xyz. This is why I picked D

7Sage Please Add This to Your Website

Dear 7sage,

Recently, I have been taking a lot of sections to drill some of my weaknesses. I just wish you would have a separate analytics system where I can insert problem sets I have done. I understand looking at tests, but I would argue that getting to the nitty gritty of analytics within section types means I can tailor more of my effort towards a given area. I do not want to have to take a test every time I am looking for my LR weaknesses, nor write down over 150+ questions and create my own trends. This is because your version and visualization of analytics truly allows me to see where I should focus my time at. Please try to do this with problem sets too!

Yea its possible to get 168. You may start to realize you need to increase your study amount as you go along. Everyone learns different and there is no perfect way to do it. I did RC LG and LR at the same time with Monday taking a PT and blind review. Tuesday I only did LR, Wednesday I did games, Thursday was for RC, and Friday was for proofing games and going over specific Lr problem types and passages I had trouble with. Then I took Saturday and Sunday off to chill and do other things. So far has worked for me got a 169 last week (granted I study 5 hours a day). So maybe it could worked for you

Thank you so much, this means a lot. I might try this method out!

Deep review after BR. IMO that is where the majority of improvement comes from. Ironically most people don't do this. At the very least a comprehensive wrong answer journal... like not just a list of questions.

Thank you so much! What is the best way to do the wrong answer journal?

Need a realistic perspective

My diagnostic score was a 153. I plan to take the LSAT in January which gives me roughly 6 months. I plan to study 1-2 hours every day 5 days a week and take 1 PT a week starting mid October. Is it possible to hit 168? My lowest by far was RC. I haven't delved into the course content yet on it because im doing logic games. Should I be working on that right now since I started studying or is it ok if I do LR and LG and then move to RC?

let me give you some context before I ask you questions. I have been studying since early-mid August until now, but I really started studying in October. I have taken 4 practice tests and have only BR'd two of them. I have done multiple LR sections. I am naturally good at LG. Anyways, I take PT 54 and make a 152....my freaking diagnostic score....after all this studying. Then, I take a 1 day break and BR. My BR was a 167, but here is the weird thing. I remember on this 1st try for PT 54 I spent so much time thinking about answer choices, passages, ect. and I really think that is, in part, one of the biggest factors to why I am missing so many questions on the real timed exam. Timing isn't an issue either, in fact, in the BR I used a different strategy to approaching the passages, where I cared more to understand the structure of the passage rather than the content. In BR for LR, I trusted my gut on the answer choices and critiqued the wrong choices AFTER picking a right one (I usually critique AC before choosing a right one). Obviously if in my critique I think something is right then I analyze my 1st pick. All in all, I went from -13 RC -9 LR and -5 LG to -7 RC -2 LR and -1 LG.

Can someone explain if my though process is right on this? Do I simply need to practice, understand the material, and trust my instinct more? In BR the 1st AC I chose usually looks blatantly wrong so why doesn't this happen when I am actually taking the test?

I wish JY would spend 3-4 min on the passage instead of 20 so it feels realistic.

I think that you have the right idea here, but in my experience the most consistent are actually single partner groups. If you are going to take 2-3 tests a week and really want consistency you could set up a couple of partners and one small group to get a diversity of strategies. I would also say that maybe doing LR and RC both might serve you well in finding a partner. If you feel that you need work at LR and are solid at RC, people might be more interested if they are the opposite. Unless you are having a problem with LG or there is a specific problem I usually do not see much point in going over that.

I really like this! Would you want to be a partner or anything?

January 16 LSAT (Serious inquiries only)

What's up! So I am looking for a study group that can meet close to 4-6 days a week and review one section of LR until the end of November (Also maybe doing LG here and there, but I will probably do it more on my own time as it is my strength). Starting December I will work to take 2-3 Tests a week and review only. January will be the same thing. Specifically for people who are 160ish + My goal for January is a 165+ and im pretty determined so ambitious people only!

P.S.

Sorry if I sound rude in this post, but I have been in a million groupme's and none of them work so I am going to limit it to like 3-5 people.

Confirm action

Are you sure?
