I have adhd as well and definitely understand the struggle, I'm decently early on in my studying but I'd love to be part of the group!

Parallel/Parallel Flaw Trouble

I am taking the test in september and am consistently PT'ing around high 160-low 170 but I find I consistently lose one or two points to these two question types. So I'd ideally like to clean them up before I get there.

Does anyone have any strategies for making these types of questions both more quick and more consistent? I find even when I get them right I'm unsure if I'm actually getting them right for the right reasons, or if it was just luck.

As you get into LR and RC the syllabus will automatically create drills for you whenever you finish every individual section, for example after the Must Be True section of LR in the syllabus, it will have you do a Must Be True drill.

What is your timing like on RC? I was having the same issue where there was a huge gap between my LR and RC, I found my problem was worrying far too much about going too fast through the passages and ending a standard 35 minute section with around 8 minutes to spare. By slowing down and taking even a 10 second pause in between paragraphs to digest what I read I no longer had to resort back to the passage during questions nearly as often, and have been getting far less wrong.

What does it mean to do a diagnostic?

I have seen others in discussions mentioning doing a diagnostic when they started studying. I recently purchased my subscription and wasn't exactly sure what that meant. I did a prep test and simulated the conditions of an actual test as best I could as soon as I purchased, but I'm not sure if that is what exactly was meant by diagnostic. I scored a 158 but figured this could easily be a fluke, so I didn't want to take the score seriously. So, what exactly is the process of doing a diagnostic?

Apologies if this is answered somewhere else on the site.

I think there might be some fundamental things you are missing, before doing any of the syllabus I was PT'ing around 158. It was only when I went back and really grasped the fundamental concepts of lawgic that I was able to jump through the 160's and into the 170's for my practice tests.
