I don't understand why AC - D is correct. Why can assume Galina is referring back to water when she is saying that it's something other than sugar? Lydia says that squirrels have ample resources to get water elsewhere, and Galina doesn't debate that which is why I was attracted to the relationship in AC -C.
Why do we assume there are other sources that the squirrels can get sugar that are better than the tree? If that's the best source, then the squirrels not wasting time with other trees would weaken the argument because it shows that they squirrels are after the highest they can get and that the content is not as available in the other trees.
