The LSAT is subtle in an unfair way imo... at some point we cannot assume too much, but at some point we have to assume way more than other times. The stimulus tells us it is "important that research money not be wasted," we are trained to not assume this means it is of utmost importance to not waste research money, but in this case we are required to assume that this means not wasting money is the #1 priority. It just seems unfair how we are expected to know what's on the test writers mind and know when to make assumptions to a degree that will be fatal in many other circumstances in this exam.

Same, now looking at it i think the first part of the AC is just suggesting that most (implied by seldom) accidents avoidances occur because drivers are often not exceeding the speed limit. That's how I am understanding it now if it makes sense to you.

When discussing about AC A, we rejected the idea of shifting funds because it was introducing a new idea away from the degree of enforcement. But when discussing about AC B, why are we not staying consistent with that trait and reject the idea of playing engagements because it introduces an idea other than practicing time? Same idea applies to AC D, we question the introduction of swim meets because it introduces a new idea other than lap times. But so again, why are we not questioning the introduction of playing engagements in AC B? This inconsistency doesn't seem to bother the instructor but as a student I don’t think that is a good demonstration of how to identify wrong ACs. #help

I don't think "no significant aspect can be controlled by a single variable" means that it cannot be experimentally tested. It only means there are more than one factor influencing the matter at hand, and does not imply it is unfeasible for experimental tests. The "controlled by a single variable" part isn't talking about controlling variables, it is about how there are more than one variable varying the aspect.

For answer choice A, how does the stimulus support the idea that violence is one of the forms of aggression, and not all aggression mean violence? How can we infer from the passage that aggression can be something other than violent? To me it doesn't mean other forms of aggression exist simply because violence is a form of it; violence may be the only form in this scenario. For example, when we say the US is a country that uses English as an official language, we cannot infer that there are other countries that also use English officially. All we can know that English is used in the US, we cannot infer from this that there are other countries that use or don't use English. That is how I thought it cannot be inferred from the passage that not all aggression is violent, because it isn't specified in the passage and therefore aggression may only be violent.

For people who are preparing the LSAT and plan to take it after August 2024, that the original LG section will be replaced by an additional LR section, how is everybody utilizing the PTs? Since the PTs are past exams, they include the LG section. But LG will not exist in the exam anymore starting August next year. But if we simply skip the LG section when doing the PTs, our scoring will not be an accurate reference. What are people doing to overcome this?
