Podcast Summary:

They believe every variant (with one exception) will be a curve of -8

The one exception is the combo of Orwell/Maple Trees LR + Newspaper LG which they believe will be -9

Curve is the # of Qs you can miss and hit 170. May 2020 curve was -9.

How accurate have these been in the past?

Optional Statements

Hi guys,

I was wondering your opinion on optional statements? Should I submit one when given the chance? I realize I am very late in the application process so I didn't know if this would help or not. I realize this is likely a case by case consideration, but I was wondering if there are any hard and fast rules surrounding the statements. Thanks!

Just got out of the test.....have no idea how to feel!! Does anyone think this Flex is curve-worthy??

LG-RC-LR was my order which worked out well. LG was pretty standard with nothing too crazy--increasing difficulty. I went into the fourth game with like 13 minutes to go so that was reassuring. I had a decent amount of time to check my answers. RC was dense af but I randomly score well on hard RC sections??? Hoping the curve helps me. The first passage was about the Big Bang Theory and it was really dense. LR was also standard. Don't know how to feel....good luck to everyone else!!!!

This question sucks, but the only way I can reach peace with the fact that E is correct is by thinking of JY's very first videos in the NA category. You need to be able to breath in order to play basketball, similarly to how epistemologists need to exist in order to observe what they believed about a particular theory. I immediately dismissed E because I was like wtf obviously they exist if the historians are pondering this question, but I then realized E dug out an extremely rudimentary assumption that very few of us actually picked up on. Wow.

This may help you at least guess quicker if you are very short on time for either of the parallel types of questions, but identify and translate the conclusion in the stimulus very quickly to match it with the conclusions given in the answer choice. Also look for certainty clues like "probably"...if the stimulus says probably or might, then it will most likely also say it in the correct answer choice. Additionally, words like some and most are also good words to match up in the conclusions. Again, not an entirely foolproof way to get the right answer but at least you can make a more educated guess!! I hope this helps!! I am also taking the LSAT that day; good luck!!

I used a mirror in October and it was definitely better because I didn't have to leave again to put my phone outside the room!!!

Definitely in the same boat, but all we can do now is be proud about the work we put in and the resilience and dedication we showed!
