I agree with this point. If it were a true contrapositive, it might have been more like "if it can be translated well, then it is not poetry." But that doesn't necessarily mean all non-poetry works, or specifically "nonpoetic literature," can be translated well. And you're correct... What if it's not "well," but "decently" translated? There's gotta be a better explanation than the one given in this video... or maybe I'm just stuck...
