Also, try not to put so much weight on your score. No matter what your score is it is going to bring you closer to your goal because you are going to learn from this test. You're taking a full pt so that you can learn more about taking full pts. You are going to improve no matter how high or low you scored, and each pt, each question/game/passage you review is going to help you reach your goal on test day.>
Also just treat test day as another PT. It's one score and admissions departments don't care about your lowest score.
It's ok. Speed comes with mastery. Focus on being accurate. It's more important to have 15 correct for the first 15 questions versus 15 questions in 15 minutes with 5 errors. Just focus on accuracy.
Asia should have at least three test dates. January, June, and October.
It's ok to run out of time with 2-3 questions left as long as you're accurate with the 22-23 other questions. If you're running out of time and missing 10 questions total, then timing should not be your focus. Focus on accuracy.
How about you record yourself doing the prep-tests and then watch yourself taking the test. See where you're getting stuck. If you don't see anything wrong, get a tutor and have them help you out.

I just took another timed test since going through the fundamentals and got a 147. Although it’s not great, I’ve improved from a 136. Where to go from here? I’ve used 7Sage for the games section. Games and LR were both my weakest sections. I am registered for the July test. I’m looking to score in the high 150’s-low 160’s. I would love a 160. I will also be taking the fall scheduled tests as well. Any tips would be greatly appreciated to reach this goal!
From a 136 to a 147. That's amazing. You should be proud and congratulated for this progress. The fact that nobody has said that to you is nonsensical.
I like to think of the LSAT as a process to re-wiring your brain. The more you are exposed to the LSAT, the better. From my experience, I have taken a Bruce Lee philosophy to the LSAT. Take what you can use and discard the rest.
Some people have done very well with only the Bibles, some people find them confusing. It depends on your learning style and the ability to process technical language. Since you have Ultimate +, I do not suggest to spend more money for the Bibles.
Both schools are regional. If you want to be in Seattle, go to UW. But the money they're giving you doesn't look like a good reason to attend.
Yes, wherever is just another way to say "every time."
There is a June group that has started. It might be best to work with that group until the end of May and then splinter off for July.
Oh my God! I'm stunned by the people who say that G-Town is worth $215k. That's absurd because G-Town has larger classes and there is absolutely no guarantee that you'll be near the top of your class to qualify for scholarships. The fact that they want you to pay them means they're appealing to your ego and know that you and others are lambs for the lions.
I would wait, apply for early decision to WUSTL, and get your law school fully funded. Georgetown is not worth it for 200k.
@ Going into your first LSAT test, it sounds like your anxious. Don't be. If you have a bad test on test day, it's just one test and it will not diminish your prospects. You own this test, it doesn't own you.

I started preparing for LSAT about 10 weeks ago.
That's pretty good for only two months of studying. Don't be Debbie Downer. Focus on the problems that give you issue and pay special attention to them during the BR process.
I think this game was tougher than the virus game. I had to refocus myself after skipping it.
I'll be here Monday. I had to move to a new place. So, I apologize for being MIA for a while.
I recommend trying to call their admissions office or send them an e-mail for more information.

Depending on which one the March BR Group does I may not be in on Sunday's.
And after Pt69 there's no overlap.
If I don't get to talk to you guys again it was a BLAST Br'ing with you folks, best of luck in the June LSAT!
Door is open if you want to continue your studies. It was great to have you there tonight.
I'll be skipping out this next week and I'll be back for PT 69 & 71.
Also has anyone else had some latency issues with GoToMeeting? It's running slow for me.
For no scholarship $$$? I think that's a big gamble to take either one of these schools, especially for cost of living in DC.
That's a huge gap. To go from -8 during BR to -30+ means you just fall apart because of the timing element. BR you don't have a time limit to solve the problems. I don't know if a tutor can help you out. It seems like you have test anxiety issues. I think you need to not focus on how much time per question when you're taking the timed test. Focus on accuracy during the timed parts, make sure that every question you attempt you get correct.
Whoa, this is getting hijacked here. The schedule is on page 1. I have no idea where PT 58 came from.
@ Sorry I was not able to attend the first part, I'll be there for Thursday night.
@ if you can post a future schedule, I might want to hop on for these as well.
@ went to Columbia. J.Y. went to Harvard. Was J.Y. or Jonathan a good law student? Did they become a good lawyers? Does the LSAT make good law students or is it a strong indicator of making one?
Gladwell made a reasonable case in episode two.

And his comparison to the reading done by Supreme Court clerks is just unwarranted, imo. The goal of RC on the test isn't to tease out details of convoluted or intricate arguments. It's to understand clear, key arguments within a topic that may or may not be challenging, and to answer questions that test the overall ability to highlight these arguments and the function of certain elements in context. Sure, there are some questions that test on details, but those are meant to be curve-breakers and aren't that common. And even a slow reader like me who can sometimes miss the details knows how to efficiently figure out the likely right AC to tough questions like that.
What are you trying to say here? Can you please explain?
Good luck to everyone tomorrow! We worked hard over the past few months and I know that you're all stressed out. Just treat it like another PT and have fun with the test tomorrow.
I can't make this Thursday night's call. I am sad.
