Hey y'all, looking to get a few people together (via Skype) to cover 1 PT every weekend leading up to the December 2015 LSAT. The sessions will be on either Saturdays or Sundays, and the time depends on where people are located. Being that there is enough pressure on us all, I'd like to get together a nonjudgmental, yet serious group of people together.

Thank you two for taking the time to lend a hand. Since I feel the need to form a system specifically for RC, I intend on coming up with something simple through dutiful RC practice. I still haven't figured what helps and what's wasting, but I hope to get there sooner than later.
Looking to go over a test every Sunday in the Madison area; if interested please leave me a message.
Hey Everyone, I've got a friend who's pondering studying for the LSAT. Was wondering if you guys/gals might know a short introductory article or video that would help better explain this exam?
Hey guys/gals,
I was wondering if you might be able to lend a hand? Can anyone tell me when it's most prudent (with respects to sacrificing time) to use the 4 wrongs make it right formula? Are there question stems worded in ways (i.e. must be true, etc.) that would alert you to this, or are there specific questions types (i.e. parallel, etc.) that should signal using this approach?
Thanks!
Money/prestige aside, what would guys say if the most important thing you wanted after graduation is a degree that travels well? In other words... let's say you could go to a school which ranks 25-30 (with little to no debt) vs a T5 school (with a whole lotta debt), which one would you pick -with respects to feeling like your job prospects nationwide (possibly beyond) would be greatest? Yeah I'm guessing T5, but I'd still like to know what you all think -thanks!

We're meeting this coming Saturday (November 28th) @ 12pm (EST). If interested, mail me your Skype handle, and I'll add you to the group. Cheers!

Can anyone explain the incorrect answer choice "B" because I'm having trouble getting through the convoluted way it's written?
I've never been a good note taker or for that matter known what to do with a highlighter, so I'm reaching out to you guys/gals to see if those of you better at this than I am could lend a hand? Sharing any techniques, or methods is more than welcome. In other words, I'd like to hear your personal style of doing things (i.e. color coordinating, brackets, etc.) in hopes that I could incorporate it into my own mode of attacking reading comprehension. Thanks everyone!
How would you guys write this out... Exactly one ambulance will reach the scene in time.
Ok, our next session will be PT 38 @ 11:30 EST this Sunday the 22nd.
@
Looks like you guys want to do PT 38?
Ok everyone, how does PT 11 sound for next Sunday at 10:30am CST?
@... Yeah, you & I held it down together -you're not only a southern bell, but a helpful team player too ;-)

I just asked probably the best boss in the world if they would write me a LOR; after agreeing to do so, he asked what sorts of things are the law schools looking to know about applicants? I told him I'd get back to him on this and could use any helpful suggestions you guys/gals may have. Thanks in advance!
Hey guys, having some tech dif, please try me via Skype at 11:15 CST
Not sure why I thought this was MSS rather than Strengthen -I appreciate the clarity. I found your explanation very thorough, and especially when you say "What is it about kids that would make them “especially” likely…? Why ? - and - As opposed to whom?" to be helpful. If I had read the stimulus more actively (especially when it talked about kids being more likely to get sick) I may have understood why AC "C" made sense because it answers the this question with relation to whom. Anyways, thanks for lending a hand with this.
So everyone, our first meeting is the day after tomorrow / Saturday the 14th at 9 PST, 10 MST, 11CST, & 12 EST. Sorry, I know that's confusing but it's the same time; since we all live in different regions, I just want everyone to be on the same page. Please try to have PT 37 done so we can all move forward together. If interested, please send me your Skype handle so I can add you to the group.
The more the merrier with repeats to joining in this weekend and every other leading to the big test! Thanks for all the help guys! I just got back from the grocery store, and I am presently putting together my zip-lock full of 7sage treats for tomorrow -cheers everyone!
I got no dietary restrictions, so with that said... any ideas on what food to pack 4 tomorrow's test?
If AC "C" only said "children tend to have more acute tastes: therefore, they zero in on foods with the most distinctive tastes" I would have seen it as being the correct AC right away, but instead this answer goes on to state they get sick more often than adults do? I thought we were not supposed to make assumptions or add things that aren't there when dealing with MSS question types? Although every other AC seemed no good, what popped into my head when looking at AC "C" is how do we know... children become sick more than adults do -where does it state this or is it even allude to it in the stimulus? Any insight would be nice. Thanks!
Good for you. Many people without learning disorders and disabilities have no idea about the day to day struggles others go through. Like 2pac said "keep your head up".
The only two schools I have my sights set on (both top 30 schools) are waiting for this score to possibly admit me for the next academic year. Although I knew going into the LSAT (this first time 'round) I wasn't going to blow things out the water, I was determined to keep my rhythm and morale up never the less. After starting out slow I made some traction and felt things might go my way -that is until the Games section knocked the wind out of me! For the life of me I don't know what happened? Although I had done games daily and even enjoyed myself most the time, I felt as if this were the very first time I had ever come across any game. Long story short... I'd be surprised if I even got 5 right within that section. My gut tells me (that at best) my results will be in the lower 150's; therefore, I am debating canceling my score. Even though I'd love to start school next year, I just can't see how that's likely with a B average GPA and a 150'ish score -especially so late in the year.
The question I'm putting forward (to you guys n' gals) is do law schools take your most recent attempt or do they average it out? I really would like to have your wealth of knowledge on this as I have to make a decision within the 6 day time frame to nullify the score -BTW, is that 6 business days or just days of the week?
Personally, I believe a non-scored test still looks a whole lot better than a low score, but I really am open and looking forward to your opinions on this. Thanks for hearing me out and taking your precious time to respond.
I'll keep this short... if you're an early bird and are taking either one of the summer exams, try to head to bed a bit LATER these next few nights. Reason being... things don't kick off (on exam day) until 1pm, so being bright-eyed and bushy-tailed (at 8am) won't work this time around.
How would you guys translate this stimulus from words into symbolic logic?
Barf (SpaceBalls movie character) only goes to the ocean on clear nights, and tonight is quite a clear night. Thus, we can conclude that Barf is going to the ocean tonight.
Hey Hamaseh, I take gym classes like TRX & Bootcamp weekly. Swimming is a great precursor to weight training -which I try to do at least twice a week. If you didn't have asthma, I'd say try heavy rope training, but Rip Trainer is a great substitute -both will get your heart rate up while helping you strength train at the same time. Mornings when I exercise/hit the gym help me get focused, and nights help me blow off steam. Hope this all helps!
Piggy-backing off what others said, repetition and looking words up goes a long way. As a lit major I had to read text like Sir Gawain and The Green Knight, The Tempest, etcetera where the words were written differently and had different meanings from what they mean today. Long & short of it, I started reading those text with greater ease with time and effort.
Thought I was the only one going through it. Good to know there are all sorts of people achieving success on this exam. Thank you for sharing this!
Trust me... splurge on a therapeutic massage the day before, and tell'em to focus on your neck and back.
I'm in the same boat as you, so I salute your coming forward with this. One thing I'd like to add to this thread is diet and exercise. I've got 74 days left to my test, so I've decided to make a healthy diet and daily exercise a commitment for the next two and half months -in hopes that that will assist my mental stamina, memory, and effectiveness come test day.
