Hi! I was in a similar position as you before the August test. I took the June test and score a high 160s which was on par with my practice score but got to the 170+ after the August test in about 2 months. My biggest recommendations would be for about 20 days to focus more on drilling. In particular, I drilled a lot of logic games since that was the section I was worst at and the one that was the easiest to get better at. However, you can customize for whatever section you need emphasis on and for 4-5 days of the week focus on that section and with the remaining days do drills on the other two to keep skills fresh. For the other 20 days, I'd recommend committing to doing as many full flex practice tests as possible and at least doing timed sections every day with blind review.

General tips for LG

-practice and keep calm for hard ones

General tips for LR

-As you read the prompt, think of rebuttals or weaknesses as you read. A lot of times you'll be able to predict the answer

General tips for RC

-after each paragraph see if you can summarize it in your head in one sentence to make sure you fully comprehend everything.

Also doing things like eating healthy, getting 8 hours of sleep etc. helps a lot too!

Hi!

I was watching the explanation for the in/out game referring to a group of people who can only be hired if they are interviewed for a position. In the explanation for the last question in the set, it mentions that the problem states at least 4 people are hired. However, I did not see that mentioned anywhere in the problem. Is it possible that there was an edit to the language or is there an inference that was not explained that I missed.

When I took it in June, you could have up to a minute between sections so definitely enough time to take a brief breather!

Thanks for the update! Do you think the new analytics will be up before the August LSAT? @

See if you can get score preview and try to take 5 PT if you can before the test. Since you can cancel with preview, I’d say it’s still worth it.

You can still improve your score in the time left and/or get lucky on test day and do well. Since you can cancel with no consequences with preview, it seems worth it.

Hi everyone! I've been practicing for the lsat flex style test by not doing one of the LR sections when doing pt but as a result it is a bit difficult to determine my analytics. Does anyone know if it is possible to convert analytics to reflect that I was just skipping one of the LR sections instead of missing them due to errors that need analysis?

Obviously this is not definite, but October will likely be flex and also have the same score preview option (look to LSAT powerscore podcast). So October is prob fine for you. If you want to try taking a diagnostic now just to see how far you are from your goal score that could also determine how much studying you'd need to do.

You can also use this score converter to give you a sense of what the score would be like for any of the tests that you just do three section on (it's not perfect, but better than nothing!) https://classic.7sage.com/lsat-flex-score-converter/

It likely makes no difference what you choose, prefer not to say means they won't consider race as a factor in decision. Similarly if you are white, race also won't really be a factor in the decision, so it does not matter what you put.

I took the LSAT flex in June and had been doing full pt when studying. When taking the actual test, I was surprised by how different it felt to just do three sections and would recommend focusing more on doing LSAT-flex style pt

Thank you so much for the advice and reassurance! I definitely think the stress is getting to me as well so adopting healthier habits should be good for me.

Hi y'all. I recently received my score back on the June Flex LSAT and scored a 167. Would it be possible to increase my score to 170+ by August (recommendations for study schedule and tips would be great!). I self studied before with just Khan Academy and was getting between 168-170 on pt
