I've been going to school full time (summer semesters included) for the past 3 years and I'll be graduating from undergrad this fall, all while working full time as an office manager, and now a paralegal. My GPA is 3.9. I took the April LSAT and got a 148, 10 points lower than my PT average. I'm planning to take again in June and aiming for high 150s minimum. When I apply to law schools, will my background benefit me in regard to acceptance?

I watched the first dozen lessons on reading comprehension and already I've improved. I would typically miss 3-4 questions in a batch of 7-8, and now I'm only missing 1/8, albeit, the most difficult question of the passage. So far, I'm very impressed with the lessons on here. Super helpful!
I plan to attend in Fall 2024. I took the April exam, my first try, and it did not go as well as expected. I let my nerves get the best of me. I scored 10 points lower than my average practice test score. I canceled my score and I'm planning to take the June LSAT after thoroughly studying. I believe I need the most help in Reading Comprehension - which the courses offered are awesome! Going to take my first practice test after lessons to see if there is any improvement.
I simply can't understand how B. isn't correct for the first question. It says in the very first paragraph that Hurston's novel "has been the primary influence on some of the most accomplished Black women writing...today."
Is it because "primary influence on SOME of the most accomplished" is not equal to "greatly influenced Black women writing as a whole?"
And last of all..it said the book received BOTH positive and negative criticism when it was published. Criticism is equal to critical study. So how is that correct??
