I thought the main conclusion in this question was "These emergencies could be avoided if Springhill would introduce permanent economic incentives for water conservation." I still got the answer correct, but am concerned I didn't properly identify the conclusion. Can anyone explain why the conclusion is that "Springhill discourages conservation" to me?

FP's vs. learning new LGs

Hi all! I'm taking the December LSAT, although a bit behind on studying, especially for LGs. Right now, I'm spending basically all my time FP-ing LGs and slowly adding in news ones. But I'm concerned that I won't have exposed myself to enough overall LGs to be able to deploy my skills when faced with new LG scenarios on the test. Do y'all think I should keep doing this or focus more on taking timed sections and new LGs in order to get the best LG score?

Thanks for any/all advice!

Do you have to apply for fee waivers? How did y'all receive them? Was it just a totally random email?

Thanks for asking this! I was worried that it was maybe a scam email and so hadn't clicked on the link. Seems like real, though, if y'all got it too!

Thanks for advice @! I like the idea of practicing my logic intuition in my brain instead of just going straight to lawgic to work out the answer. Maybe that will also help me see the correct translations?

@ Upstate NY is so amazing. I grew up near Watertown... I've definitely toyed with the idea of trying to make it out to Ithaca just to check out Cornell even though it isn't on my list. I miss that part of the country often, despite being a Midwesterner at heart now.

@ I'm glad to hear that about WUSTL. I've been meaning to drive out there to check it out, but I've just been a little sketched out by it being in St. Louis haha.

@, I went to WUSTL for undergrad. It's a beautiful campus in a really lovely area of St. Louis - right next to the biggest urban park in the country! (It's even bigger than Central Park!) If you're thinking WUSTL, I highly highly recommend visiting -- I think you'll be really pleasantly surprised. And I say this as someone who grew up in CA and was surprised myself by how much I loved STL :)

Sufficient Assumption Q's

I feel like I'm having trouble with the SAs and the PSAs, even though JY says they should be freebies on the test. I did really well on the SAs in the core curriculum, when just working in lawgic. But when working through the English statements in the stimulus, it takes me a long time to translate the English into lawgic that feels aligned with the valid argument steps we learned. And sometimes I think I would get the answer much more quickly if I didn't go through those steps.

I've been using the Question Bank to focus in on just SAs and PSAs - usually getting 1-2 wrong and the rest right, out of sets of 5-7 questions...but for freebies on the test, I should be getting 100% right.

Anyone else have a similar issue? I'm so frustrated by this. Does anyone have suggestions for getting better? And getting faster?
