But how does answer choice A show that it was the campaign which caused the flu to decrease? A counterargument to choice A could be that people didn't wash their hands because of the campaign and instead washed their hands because of another arbitrary reason.

As an add-on to this post: Would it be far too late to apply exactly on February 1?

One of my main law school choices is UCLA. But the deadline to submit the application to UCLA is February 1, 2023, which is also the date which January 2023 LSAT results will be released. Is it possible to apply on exactly February 1?

Is there a way to request results on the LSAT to be released early?

Is it right to say that D is correct because if the country's entire overall crime rate dropped, then that accounts for the chief's city? As such, it does not seem plausible that the chief's strategy is what caused the crime rate drop, rather, the drop was caused by whatever caused the country's entire crime rate to drop (whatever that may be).

Is it possible to map this stimulus out during an actual practice test in a timely manner?

When reviewing LR questions I got wrong, I like to use the wrong answer template to help me review and identify why I chose the wrong answer and why the correct answer is wrong.

But I never know what to write for the part of the wrong answer template that asks, "How do I change my process to do better in the future".

What would be an example of a concrete lesson or feedback to oneself that someone can write in for this part of the template? I usually write vague feedback. For example on one of the questions I was reviewing I wrote, "pay attention to sufficiency/necessity confusion". But I don't think that's concrete enough.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Got this wrong because i misread "mortality" as "morality" and then thought to myself "what does morality have to do with death"

Discrepancy between BR Score and timed score

I scored 140 on PT 52 under the normal time pressure but I scored 157 on BR. Not sure what to make of this or how to proceed in my studying. I am almost finished with all of the LR section lessons of the core curriculum. I have done the most studying on LR, which is my strongest section, and I have done very little studying on the LG section. I have done absolutely zero studying on the RC section. The majority of my mistakes during the actual test were from running out of time on the LG and RC section. I was unable to answer about 15 questions in the LG section because I ran out of time and I was unable to answer 10 questions in RC because I ran out of time. Any advice on how I should proceed in studying?

Academic Plagiarism appearing on law school apps

During my senior year in undergrad, I was reported for academic dishonesty (plagiarism). I previously had a class with the professor that reported me and I got an A in his class, which is why I was surprised that he thought I plagiarized. The professor said it was a minor case of plagiarism because I did not paraphrase adequately in certain parts of my final essay. I met with the dean and I ultimately admitted to plagiarism and I got a deferred suspension (which is just fancy language for a warning). The dean said that I had to attend an avoiding plagiarism workshop before graduation so that's what I did. I asked the dean if something like this would appear on my transcript and she said that UCLA (the uni I attended) does not make a notation on the transcript but it holds a separate records that are confidential. She said the records would not be released to law schools without their request and my authorization. I ultimately got an A- in that class.

So what should I do? Does attending a workshop like this count as disciplinary action? Is a warning all that bad? And will law schools see that something like this happened through the LSAC CAS report?

Does it matter where I study for the LSAT?

Is it better to study for the LSAT where I will take the actual exam? The purpose of this would be to get used to the same environment so that I know what to expect on test day in terms of my environment. However, I find that I am more effective and productive at studying when I am at the library, which is where I will not be taking the actual exam. What matters is understanding the material so as long as I understand it, it wouldn't matter where I study right?

Writing my own Academic LOR

My professor asked me to write a first draft of a letter recommendation so that he could work off of what I write. I met this professor at community college but he also teaches at another university. Should I explicitly state in the letterhead that he is a professor at a university and community college or only the community college at which he taught me? Or should I just leave it blank and let him decide?

My Professor asked me to write a LOR for myself

Even though I really want a LOR from this Professor, I feel like I'm far to busy with schoolwork and studying for the LSAT to sit down to learn how to write a LOR. But at the same time, I think he's asking me to write it because he is far to busy. I already have 4 other LORs from employers and other professors, is it worth it for me to stress out over this single LOR? Should I kindly ask him to write it or should I just give up on his letter entirely? The thing about this professor in specific is I've known him and kept in touch with him for about 4 years, so I feel that his LOR will shed light on our long-standing academic relationship. Any advice?

I chose answer choice C not necessarily because of the reasons that JY mentioned but because the stimulus says "only 3 large bodies of water" which means there are other large bodies of water that the existing natural gas pipelines can be extended to, the locations of would be open for construction and no opposition.

Not sure if that makes sense but is that a correct way of thinking for this question?
