I initially chose 'C' but when I did the BR I clearly understood it to be 'E', looking at the wording "All the pets...ever owned" vs "Gupta family has never owned any pets OTHER" which is similar to the "The only songs Amanda has ever written are..."

so essentially, if you're given a premise using necessary indicators and then an inference is made based off sufficient conditions (or vice versa), you cannot say that is valid because those principles don't apply towards one another.
