A lot of it comes with practice. I had a similar experience. Doing the course material helps, but once you do it. It is important to continue to practice. Nothing beats doing questions consistently. The more you do questions the more you are able to apply the principles you learned and understand why they are important. I believe in you, it is a mental grind but overtime I'm sure you will see progress.
I've been a fan of reading question first, simply because for some questions like, find the conclusion or MSS questions it helps frame my mine going into them. I tackle those questions differently and spend less time trying to understand the reasoning of some stimulus's that may for example be very challenging and simply, understanding the information of those passages to solve the answer. But regardless, I'm writing it this month as well. And I believe we both will do great.
There was 1 minute between the two sections when I wrote it in November.
Hey thank you for initiating! I would love to join as well.
