How many Ws on a transcript do you need before alarm bells go off? Do law schools care a lot about Ws? Does anyone have and advice for writing an addenda about Ws?

How many withdrawn classes do you need to for it to become a problem? Should you write an addendum for more than 3 Ws? Do Ws matter that much?

Thanks for the responses. But will schools themselves weigh the second GPA in evaluating my application's fitness, or will they mostly care about the rankings?
Hi fellow future/current lawyers! I am having a hard time weighing my overall gpa. My first two years, at my first institution, my gpa is pretty low to be honest. But my last two years a solid Big Ten school is much better. Will my second transcript be weighed significantly more or will the averaged gpa be the main thing schools look at?

As someone who just signed up for the August 29 test date, and has been studying since early June, this news is awesome. I wonder though. Do people think law school admissions will be more competitive for the Fall 2020 because the economy is bad right now?
Thanks everyone! My Ws do not count as Fs and many of them are because I was working full-time. So I think I might be good. I am not really applying to the top top law schools either.
