Hello! I am not sure if you are able to add the question stimulus & Acs in a post, but I am confused regarding PT1 S3 Q09 and was wondering if anyone could provide any insight. I saw answer choice D as correct, my belief was that if businesses see the cost as a business expense, they won't go about changing their methods. I see where my line of reasoning, but I am confused as to why answer choice A is correct. Can anyone help me out? Thank you!

I had the same issue as you. I began with a cold diagnostic of 141, and after studying for 2 months, got to a 149- not at all my goal score. It seems as if we face plateaus every few points, the only advice I can give is to just push through. I know it sounds like the most obvious thing ever, but a month after that 149, I got to 156, I got 159 for five or six preptests after that. My issue was logic games, I was getting -5 to -3 on reading comprehension but for some reason logic games just didn't come to me, and it was bad enough (in addition to missed questions in logical reasoning, of course) to bring me down to the high 140s.
I took time each day to immerse myself in only the types of questions I got incorrect, and as I began to understand them, that feeling of "what the heck am I doing?" faded away. Just keep pushing forward, if you see a study program you'd like to try then go for it if you're able to, just keep pushing forward and give yourself time to understand the material, you've got this!
Yeah! My diagnostic was a 141, I'm now testing at around 159 with blind reviews at 165-167. I have been studying for the past few months and have dedicated an hour or two a day to studying (though it often ends up running past that) with one day a week off. My professor told us that increases in score are common with studying but to not get our hopes up if we have low 140s-ish scores and want high 160s or 170s, but I don't believe that. This test is learnable, and if you study enough and really dive into the material you will see an increase, don't worry!
I feel the same way at times, almost like the harder questions are workable but the easier questions are almost too easy? I'll do well in later LR problems but circle back to the first 10 and be stuck on answers because I feel like they're too obvious, only to finish the test and blind review and find out that the answer I thought was "too easy to be right" actually was correct. I'm curious to see what tips you get & I hope you find a solution, this problem can be really annoying!
