I didn't realize everyone would be on different sections. The person next to me was working on Logic Games for his first section while mine was LR. It REALLY distracted me for the first minute or two.

Here's what I did while working. I get an hour for lunch and I still need to eat, but within that hour I always gave myself 35 minutes to do a logic games section. I quickly got done all of them. When you're done? Start over. Logic games are perfect for lunch because even if your coworkers ask you to do something, its the kind of thing you can pause. As long as you pause your time. Reading or LR is a little harder in that respect.

I tried to always get a couple hours in each night. If you find yourself too tired, then try to do it in the morning as everyone said.

Weekends are your time. You can't spend the WHOLE weekend training but I usually got started around 10am and finished around 4-5. That's a solid day of work. Between the logic games at lunch, an hour (or two) each night, and 15hrs over the weekend, you're looking at 30hr weeks. That's plenty. You can cut down your Sunday studying a bit and still have put in a lot of time.

I definitely tried to maintain a social life. I didn't have THAT much time to dole out but I'm a big pub trivia fan and that kept me sane. Make sure you get some exercise in too (I usually tried to spend at least 5hrs a week on this still). You need to keep some semblance of a normal life or you'll crash.

After a month or two you'll get used to it and you'll start to recognize what you're learning and when you are learning best.

I hate waiting :( I wrote a year ago and I didnt take it serious enough. I was nervous, of course, for my score, but not like this time. I'm checking LSAT boards every day (here, reddit, TLS) to see if people can say something about the Feb test. I found it pretty easy but at the same time i'm totally paranoid :((((

The logic games are lawgic, and I always use it there. You have to.

Beyond that, once every test or so on an LR question there will be an assumption question that has a chain of 3-4 different relationships. I think you need to be safe and lawgic that.

Gah this one got me. Once I got to D I stopped because I thought, "they cant live in the south because the water, and this just said they cant live in the north". What I didn't imagine is that they could just live outside of the 'certain region'. That's the trap, correct? or am I missing another clue?

I stopped reading at C because I was short on time and thought it was okay. The reason I bought C is because it said in the premise that North and South shared the same climate, so I took that to mean that if the trees were there in the North they could be there in the South. Any direction?

I also see why D is good, but how do you deal with the climate clause? Do I have to assume climate only means temperature and not vegetation? That seems pretty assumptive.

To answer, if you review your PTs, you'll never necessarily plateau. Each question is different but each question type is generally the same and as you gain even more experience with the questions during PTs and review, at the very least, the wrong ones (but BR entirely) you should improve. So no, you shouldn't expect to always get 72% on MSS questions going forward.

@

I hear you about the RC. Its one of the hardest Ive seen in any test. I was extremely disappointed when I learned that that, and not my experimental, was the real one.

More importantly, congrats on being done, and I hope the score is as you desire!

I had the same pattern as everyone (so far) that did two reading comps. The first one was actually one of the easier RCs ive had, and the science passage, which is normally my worst, was quite easy on that one. The second set of passages was tough for me. The rest of the test went great! The games were super easy, I heard JY in my head the whole time, and I finished each LR with time to review which never really happens

Congrats to everyone who wrote!

As long as you worked hard and got close to what you wanted and what you're capable of, that's all thats important.

And @, since you specifically gave your score, you're luckily at the top of the echelon. The difference between 173 to 178 - while still a difference - isn't going to really make a big difference in where you want to go. You're at the top of the scale.

February LSAT Score

Congratulations to everyone who went grey yesterday and thanks to everyone for being so helpful during the waiting threads.

I just want to say to anyone who it might affect, please don't be discouraged by people posting high scores, or scores higher than you. You received a percentile grade and for everyone here that posts above you, there are likely some people not posting who are below you.

The important things with respect to your score are that its enough for you for where you want to go. The internet, and less so here, more so on other LSAT boards, tends to be flooded with people disappointed by anything that isn't Hardvard/Yale/Stanford. Of course we can't all go there. Nor should we want to. There are just as many people that have successful law careers going to regional schools, and there are many people who attend HYS and don't even amount to much. Not to discourage anyone from trying to attend these schools of course. All I'm trying to say is, if you set a plan, and achieved the score you needed, congratulations, and don't be discouraged by anyone elses scores here.

To anyone that didn't achieve the score they wanted, I wish you all the best! I'll be re-writing myself so I understand your feeling. If this was your second time writing, I hope you improved from your first.

My diagnostic was 145. Got a 156 in December 2013 with little prep. Started prepping pretty seriously November 2014 - February test via 7sage and got a 163. A little disappointed - my prep tests were 160-170, and I think I scored around my average, but I did hope I could have pulled a couple extra points. Would really like to blind review my test. Gonna cross my fingers for entrances and, if not, write again in October.
