If I don't have a super personal reason for the type of law I want to pursue, and need to include this in my essay, would it be a bad idea to use someone else's story (i.e., something I have seen in the news) that really impacted/inspired me? Is this weird, or can I word it in a way that doesn't take away from the purpose of my essay by focusing too much on someone else?
