If you accidentally exit a drill, you go to "drills" under the practice tab and scroll to click "show existing drills." Once you do that, it will show you any drills you had created and resume the drill or clear it to start it again.

I would suggest taking practice tests. I plan to take test in September which is a sufficient amount of time but not extremely long. I would say that taking practice tests allow you to internalize which sections of LR or RC you need to especially (and emphasize) focus on.
