Took it as well, only improved by 2 points. Taking this as motivation for the April test. Thanks, Brandon. See you on the other side!
you got this!
Just got a 151 on the February 2024 LSAT which was my goal and is good enough for the law schools I am applying to. After consuming 67 cans of Redbull original/tropical flavor. Waking up at 6 am and studying till 3 am for 5 months. My LSAT journey has officially come to an end. went from a 136 to a 151 so people out there still studying or taking the april LSAT. I know its going to suck but please dont give up you will get your goal score. From being pestered by parents constantly asking when Im going to apply to dealing with the LSAT, its finally ending. I will pray for all of you and hope you get your goal scores. This is Brandon signing off for the last time.
Thank you JY for everything.
this question is the definition of a time sink imo. i got it right but the damn thing took me like 4 mins to solve.
The word apparently threw me off even tho I still picked A. In the question it said reasonably and it just messed me up a little.
What does it matter if movie songs get played thousands of times, its not like the artist is making money off of it because they still got paid an up front amount. If they choose to write a movie sing they get paid a single amount. so why must it be true that a movie song gets played thousands of times. its not like they will make money from it?
not gonna lie when I was reading answer choice E out loud i laughed. dont ask why
i crossed B out for a different reason. I still got it right and was mainly between A and C but I crossed B out because even though the english version differed from the original, he still could of modeled it off of the idea itself so thats why I got rid of B.
i got it right but i thought this was a sufficient assumption question....
if I get a level 4 question difficulty as question #1 on the lsat im done
I mean this question was created even before I was born so it doesnt matter at this point but if LSAC were to omit a question, this 100% should be one of them. I got the question right but spent like 7 minutes on it so it doesnt really do me any good on the real test. Probably wouldve skipped it on the real test and the fact that this question is #7 is crazy.
same i was between A and B for the longest time. I knew A didnt help and was going to pick it but I couldnt rule out B so i just screw it and chose B.
i had no idea what was going on in this question tbh. got it right tho somehow.
im gonna be honest I had no idea what the question was talking about which made it a little hard. something about fabric and window treatments but just did the contrapositive and D worked out.
Also I've been doing 2 to 3 PT's a week so it could be burnout but section 2 went so poorly that im not even sure if i can blame it on burnout.
Took PT's 50-59 and 70 up to 76 and have consistently been scoring in the 153 -155 range. Took PT 80 and got a 150 and its no big deal, transition from 70's PT's to PT's in the 80 is kinda hard but ill take a 150. Bro I go to take PT 81 and I did so bad in section 2 of the LR for it, I probably wouldve got more correct if I closed my eyes and randomly selected answers. I understand that there are some anomalies out there but I did so bad in this LR section Im kinda scared to continue forward and Im taking the February LSAT. Not sure what to do. I dont think Im screwed because ive been scoring in the low to mid 150's for a bit now but Im unsure now. Any advice is appreciated.
ngl after getting this wrong and looking at the curve. I was this close from just not doing anything for an entire week.
I got this question right but it took me like 3 minutes to choose between A and D. The reason why is the premise doesnt actually support the conclusion. The premise talks about the aftermath of what would happen if a satellite collision DID happen, not why a collision is likely to increase. It mentions nothing about WHY the chances would increase. Bad question imo.
yea i was sitting there and picked D and noticed it was question # 19 and was like "aint no way it was this easy, something is horribly wrong or doesnt feel right." But started to overthink and just picked D and moved on. C L E A R L Y something was indeed wrong lol.
