New LG Style

I read an article this morning explaining that the LG section of the LSAT is likely to change pretty drastically starting in 2022. Do we know how that will factor into scoring or if LSAC plans to release any information regarding the new style of LG section prior to a complete shift in style?

I'm planning on taking the test in February and don't feel prepared to push that date up but I also don't want to be shooting myself in the foot by studying for a style of LG that will be outdated by the time I take the test.

I think for me the best practice I've had has been exposure therapy. One thing that might help is finding some ACT PT's and doing those RC sections. Another thing I've found helpful is reading studies or writings about topics which I'm not familiar with. One way to practice this is offering to proof read friends' papers for classes you're not taking. My wife is an interior architect and I would often read her art history papers for her before she turned them in. This has helped me a lot and I hope you can find this helpful too! Good luck!!

Essentially, my best scores across all three sections are -0/1. However whenever I see improvement in my LR or RC score the other seems to suffer. As such my score has been hovering around the high 160s and low 170s but my individual section scores fluctuate a good bit.

My question is this, what are some ways that I can synthesize improvements across all three sections in one test?

I think the best thing to do would be to practice consistently. If you think Adderall is influencing your ability to focus or succeed on the test and are considering not taking it for the test. Try going off it for a week or two and take a PT or two in that time. If your score drops immensely or you feel any negative effects across both weeks. Maybe it's better for you to stay on it. Just make sure two things are true about your prep. You're putting your health (mental, physical, and otherwise) first, and that you find a rhythm for test day and stick to that rhythm for a while before test day comes.

Good luck my friend!
